and just a little note, yes cooking is a nice skill to have, but it is not the end of the world if you can't cook when getting married as it is a skill that can be acquired, as far as whether people can cook "well" or not that would just depend on the person. Some people can try for years but not still cook shereen dishes like other people might on their first try. Yes I know, practice makes perfect as well and there's nothing wrong with it ...

But wrora, we have to understand that in a family structure, everyone works together. You cannot expect your wife to bear children, take care of them, wash clothes, clean the house, and iron your clothes....oh and cook for three square meals everyday. At times, i feel our Pashtun culture or any other culture is simply ignorant. No offense to you wrora but i am just saying in general. Which is why, i think my mother should always appreciate my father, because though they are both doctors and work the same amount of hours every week, they both work together at home. So if you want a *happy* and long marriage, each have to work together auo ka sanga (as Azad khel would say).....
