You could blame Zee tv, for me being obsessed with Indian girls.

Are we muslims before pashtuns, or pashtuns before muslims?

I understand your 'concerns' with keeping pashtun culture, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is that we keep Islam alive inshAllah. but pashtun culture is nice too
but i dont like hearing pashtun men saying they prefer other women over pushtanas what's wrong with us?? LOL jokinggggggg i get it, it's because pushtanas are too good for you right? :D i joke i joke, i'm going to stop before anyone starts to think im serious lol
It's not so much of a preference as much knowing approaching a pashtana comes with certain issues

for example a potential father in law who wants you basically to bank roll him for the rest of his life

I had a marriage proposal last year, and the family i believe was Tajiki, my brothers kinda went crazy. They are very traditional so a Pashtun is a must.

The men in my family once used to suffer from tribalism. Alhamdillullah that is no longer the case.

Though i believe in Afghan unity amongst all ethnicities, i definitely prefer a Pashtun first and foremost. As long as he mets my insane list of standards

hmm... that's not true unless there is something wrong with you :D haha nah jk,
i don't think pashtanas come with 'issues' that a terrible thing to say you can't blame a father for protecting his daughter, of course there's going to be some of that going on but you can't complain about that.

& idk what you're talking about? who said a pashtun father want's his son in law's money? >.< bad example because that depends on the family, that has nothing to do with being pashtun....

LOL! I am sure it wasnt Khan lala. I wasnt at the khastgari.....i was out and about. My aunt told me the guy's mother and sister came to my aunts house. And asked for me, then she told the lady that i was against marriage :D lol i heard the lady thought she was being serious. Then she saw me again at the store, and asked me if i wanted to meet her son. I looked at her and ran away (not joking). then afterwards i found out her son was well educated and quite good looking.

^ i believe everyone has a past...that is my personal thing. But it depends on the past. As long as he was open and honest about it with me, then i do not hold it against him. If anything, i see present and future the most important. Afterall, i am spending these two times sets with this person, not the past.

                      good question though

I think most women in general and their families look for people who are financially stable. It is the cold truth.

there is no such thing as sincerity I think.

So in short, if one is on drugs, they wouldn't even give a second look, but if one is financially stable, then they are in love LOL

I believe in a loving relationship, there will have to be forgiveness.

Even for potential marriages, such things should be discussed amongst the girl and guy, but of course in the right way and right time.

There was one guy whom i was told about. I didnt care for what he did in the past. But the fact was that though he knew his father was seeking me for him, he still continued to do what he was doing. That to me was not okay.

                                Forgiveness is for the weak.
