paithy is not dhaal.
we eat paithi(not like pakistanis and indias eating dhaal)once in a while with rice or de tabey dodey.

gadoonwal de tanoor dodey me dera yadegey,der wakht keygey che ne me dey khwarelay.Sakht khwand kayee che moor tanoor ke dodey pakhayee aw tala pekey yawa wara shaan pakha kee aw garma garm yee wekhorey.

wo wallah,haga wahtona ter shov.da maindo pa laas ki ba bail khwand woo.

hagai dodo ba dasai khwand kawoo chi wacha ba hum khwaga wah.
haga wara shan tha ba e ,,kakorai,,hum wai.

Since my mom studied medicine in Lahore.....she makes the best Dhaal!!!

She makes the liquidy kind over white rice, and afghan salad on the side with it.

Or she makes the dhaal itself, with meat and Afghani bread
