Females from Pakhtunkhwa

This is something I've been thinking about for a while now.

This, Forum Members, is not to cause splits and divisions. I'm not into that at all. I consider us all part of the same Afghan/Pashtoon community, but I'm curious why do we have so few female posters/regular members from Pashtunkhwa?

And what can we as an Admin Team/Forum do to ensure that we have an active membership from all sections of our community? Knowing this is the thing that helps build bridges, awareness and community. That's what I'm interested in.

Please post up your thoughts. I should add divisive comments will get the immediate chop.

We're all Afghan - I'm sure that our morality and standards do not differ in that way. No, there's another reason that I'm trying to probe.

i think mabey they do not feel welcomed here becouse majority of pashtuns are from afghanistan on here and so they might be a bit wary that we might not be as accepting as they are from across the border.

I have been to pakistani forums and there were lot of female members from khyber pakhtunkhwa there. But here there are few.
I have noted that compared to males, pashtun females are not so much interested in strictly pashtun topics.
In discussion forum of khyber pakhtunkhwa, khyberwatch, there were few females of which only two were active, qrratugai and laila.

like quite a lot of pashtuns from over the border mabey they accept themselves as pakistanis hence why they like to join those forums instead of a pashtun only.

Reasons, people, reasons ... what are your motives for being here and how can we encourage full participation? What changes/bridges do we need to build?
