OK so im really really into this tajik kid who ive known since last summer, he is the most sweetest person ever and last year he even wrote my test for me(long story). Anyways i always saw my self with a pashtun and i feel like im "betraying" everyone for liking him I need HELP!!

They have become a bunch of many races.
Then they change their language to farsi and preaching us nationalism.
shishai,i am sorry to say but looks like you also half pashtun speak farsi at home.
Becuze of their pro persains atitude i will never ever support the idea of more pashtun becoming farsiwan by joining afghanistan.
The idea of free pashtunistan is the best for pashtuns of pashtunkhwa.

Don't do something because you're worried about what others think of you, but because of whether you know what you're doing is right or wrong. If it's right, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks because they are wrong and need to be set right; but if it's wrong you betray everyone including yourself. Remember everything is interconnected.

Whether he is Tajik or Pashtun is an irrelevant issue. What is right morally is what should be your issue. To be involved with him without any motive for marriage in the prospect is morally wrong. If that's not the case, back away. I do however recommend that Pashtun women stay with Pashtun men; not because of some racist idea of betraying your race; but it is your identity and being, and women of a society are the ones who carries the children of their society thereby choosing to marry outside can be destructive, and choosing a destructive path shows a lack of self respect. Sometimes our impulses are misguided so there arises a contradiction between our impulses and our selves. I have Tajik relatives and they are good Muslims. ultimately being Pashtun is not just your blood, but most importantly your heart and soul. This is what I am referring to by choosing a beneficial verses destructive choice. Usually a Pashtun will reflect the character of being Pashtun, so it's better to marry one; but sometimes you find a Pashtun inside someone who is not Pashtun.


What is important is Imandari/Deendari, Ghairat, Namous, Aql, Gentleness, compassion and love.
