Whats so shocking about this thread? There are plenty of Pashtuns in Afghanistan who have married Tajik men/women since the days of Ahmad Shah's sons. This is why Pashto/Pashtun culture is so degraded in Afghanistan due to inter-marriages with Arabs/Punjabis/Tajiks. There are very common cases of Pashtun women(young as 10) in Swat being sold off to Pakistan Retired Generals/Officers/Majors.

The Salafi Movement of Afghanistan have even taken Pashtun women of ANA soldiers as War booty during the Soviet war. Plus there are graves in Kandahar where women pray to killed Arab jihadis.

So in essence, my point is, there is no reason to be shocked to hear news that a Pashtun women likes a Tajik man.

I think Pashtuns have been very accepting of Inter-Racial Marriages, on the other hand, its always good to stick to tribes, it would be a tradgy to see Pashtun lineage and rich culture destroyed.

However, its a free world, do what you feel is right.
