okay listen...this time either talk to your boss or put down the payment from your own pocket until the job is done. if you do the second one then don't tell him you put down the payment as he sounds low enough to refuse you payment at the end once he knows you made it. once the job is finished, take your money and walk out.
in future avoid doing business with people you know on a personal level or an afghan who know you are an afghan. i know i sound horrible but we afghans tend to be either passive or aggressive and let's not go to the details behind the cause of that.

try to avoid getting in to a screaming match with a client. trust me, i have done it for years....the more professionally you deal with the matter the better respond you get from them. if you yell then you have given them the opportunity to return you the favor. that doesn't mean you let someone bully you to the point where they threaten to take your cloths off. mention the law if things get out of hand or tell your boss to get someone else to handle it.

No don't go after him agha asae zaan sharmaee. What you did was right...tell your manager what happened and let him/her deal with it from now on. Cover your bases and make sure what you did was up to procedure.

ok most of you advise me to leave it as i have followed everything from my side so i have no problem in letting my manager etc deal with him and for his personal outrageing words towards me shall also be left alone and forgotten and lesson learnt from all this.

did you already give him all the cards? If not, don't give him the cards. Maybe you should have only given him 2 sample cards???

He would not be able to do anything with those??

we have given him 1 sample card and his logo designs, he can easily now go and get that printed any where else, we spent 2 days designing it becouse we do the high range market cards with GSM like 400-600

Maybe next time only show the sample card using a lap top (bring your lap top, and show a jpg image of it. Ask them if they like it or not, and then tell them they need to pay the remainder.

our company likes to offer best customer service with proffessionalism and quality and so the reason we got him his actual sample card is becouse we dont want people turning around going oh you just designed it on the computer and this and that and any one can do that becouse that would look bad so what we offer is the real deal where we design the cards logos etc and then we get an actual print for them aswell so they can see it feel it touch it etc.

and yes its unfair majoryt on my side as i have had to go see him and then i get something like that for a reply.

so i need a bit of help from you lot if you dont mind

here is the situation i am in:

today i went down to a business owned by an afghan who speaks pashto etc just last week he had requested business cards with new logo designs and he wanted a light box ( side box outside shops) and at the time i had run him through my companies sales procedure and he was happy with it. he needed to pay a 25 percent deposit of the total amount so we can get him samples designed and created, and today i had gone to drop it of and according to company rules collect the rest of the outstanding payment either by cheque or he could call up and use card etc. he was happy with the designs etc and wanted it but he didnt want to pay of the outstanding amount and i explained to him that i am just following rules here which i cant bend for you but he was having none of that and started riasing his voice. i kept my cool and tried to calm him down and tell him this is how its done by every company here etc he pretty much lost it and started swearing at me and goes to me : " i will strip you of your clothes here and beat you" so i go to him shut up and dont talk to me in that manner or else i wont be able to control my hand. he swore a bit mre and then i left it and told him he can come to our office and meet with the manger and discuss what ever he wants there.

now this happened early morning and all day it has pretrty much really pissed me of and i feel very disrespected and have a big urge to go down and hit him. now thing i am asking is his like in his 30s so what should i do becouse i cant stand being embrassed like that and not doing anything :@
so yh advise me please!!!!
