FIrst of all, i want to make a shout out to the members from California, especially Northern Cali. WHOOP WHOOP!!!

So for those that live in Bay Area, are you guys going to San Jose or the fair ground near Fremont for the mela. I heard Pleasanton might not have it this year, anyways........So everyone, what are your plans for Nowroz?

No it was Farhad Darya, i think.....the one in the Fairgrounds last year.

I think i might go to Berkeley this year though since it seems that nothing is being planned here.

I wished Mangal would come here though

i will never go again lol
Farhad darya a 55 yrs old Man jumps here there saying salam alaik salam alaik, thats not Afghanism... oh and some others guys were there jumping around singing iranian type songs...

To be honest I didnt like it because there were some iranians in the concert too and I hate them lol.

If there is a concert with sangin,sada, ghairati, pure, native, and watani singers/audience then i will break my head and go lol, but if its like last year then i wont spend 25 Cents on farhad darya or others losers. I better pay that 25 bucks to the poor ppl of Africa or Afghanistan

ohhh i know. Farhad Darya doesnt understand how old he is. I swear, he is going through a mid-life crisis.....just take a look at his new songs.

Last year, in our Afghan community we had this small singer. He was very good. He sang old Nashenas songs and other oldie ghazals, it was very relaxing night. All the girls wore Afghani dresses, and all the guys wore their clothes. We even raised money for that new Afghan masjid in our city.

But i also went to that Great America one and greatly regretted it.....i like Ghazal she is such a cute girl but i hate the other people that were with her.

I would rather be in Kabul or Mazar-e Sharif for Nowroz.....i tried to convince mister fehlani to go to Mazar so he could take photos for me :D

dancing in front of strangers for no freaking reason other than it being eid doesn't define being an afghan to me.

OMG!!! okay so last year at this Nowroz function we were at.....it was me, my khala, and my sister sitting in a table together. Then this bibi with her two daughters came and sat with us, we didnt know who they were. She was wearing those suit skirts with a gauge chadar on. Then she gets up and starts dancing in front of everyone. People thought she was like my aunt or something because she was sitting with us......we were like so embarrassed. It was bad.

weeee nooooo.....she was a Bibi haji lol! she had a skirt on with a chadar.....those faatya posh chadars..... then she gets up and dances around. Thank goodness i was not one of her daughters :D
