Kingkhan don't be a hypocrite. They should only align themselves with pashtuns. Not hindkos or Iranians or anyone else.

Ghandara is part of Afghan history are you now trying to somehow hijack that for your new found pakistan? Why are you talking about persians all the time is it to counter that facts about how pakistan is destroying pashtun culture and has put a ban on pukhto?
i think you are failing miserably All Afghans are supportive of pashtuns and they sing pashto national anthem ending with Allahu Akbar while you are stuck with pak sarzameen shadbad.Afghanistan is Pashtun power base and your bias cant hurt us.

        the faxts according to who?
Afghans is not so much balck and white as you think.the Afghan army isnt much of an Afghan army and trying to say they are represntative of the afghan society is being ignorant.Afghan army is full of northern alliance which consists of many groups including pashtuns and they are not representing ethnic groups rather thier own parties be is wahdat, jamiath etc.
there is also an Afghan public which you guys seem to ignore in favour of warlords and their gangs.

It makes all the sense in the world anyway. I mean, who wants to start a "new" year, new beginning, in cruel, snowy cold? Spring is the most perfect, most reasonable time for it -- and nature itself has New Year painted all over it.

          Nauroz mubarak to all!

When NATO packs up its travelling circus to the middle east or Somalia the real people with power will be the artificially created army of afghanistan - that is an undeniable fact. Currently the "afghan" army consists of largely anything BUT pashtuns. Secondly all major players in " afghan " politics are neo afghans. These are the people that are being tasked with shaping Afghanistans future. From how fast you can speed on the highway to what provisions children get in school to their curriculum.

You might laugh at me and think I'm crazy but as Afghanistan becomes more and more wealthier this this dilution of pashto is going to become so apparent that its going to be fashionable to be be an Iranian/farsi instead. How do I know this? Because its exactly the same thing that is happening in regions of pakistan where pashtun minds and tongues have been subdued by Urdu. Afghanistan will go down the same path unless something really extraordinarily happens.

you are wrong when Nato leaves Afghanistan will be emore pashtun dominated with taliban oncorporated into the govvernment and army.
these invading forces will not be the ones to determin the future of Afghanistan.the peopel in the parlement are Afghasn and many of them are wralords and corrupt criminals and they arent representatives of any ethnicity just karzai si not representative of Pashtuns.
you cant compare situation in pukhtunkhwa with Afghanistan,we have pashto as the national language of the country maybe it doee need mroe attention.dari is our second national language.in pakistan urdu is the first langaueg and than comes english and pashto is is not considered as national language.
If when durrand line erased these discussions will be unnecessary.

Taliban incoporated as part of government an army?LOL keep dreaming.

Thank God taliban are largely pashtun. Probably the only back up pashtuns have in avoiding a bloodvath when NATO leaves.

Ofcourse I can compare it as I'm seeing it happen in places like kabul already. It's the best comparison and its the same language being amalgamated/dominated by external pressures

It wasnt so much about saying it in Farsi.....it was more of people denying that Afghanistan celebrates New Years.

Last year, literally like 5 people PMed me and gave me so much s*** it was ridiculous! one guy actually cursed me out in Pashto for starting this thread.

you are the one thats dreaming with your black and white look at Afghanistan.
bloodbath?you are living in other times and are walking on the party line.
Taliban are largely Pashtuns but there are also taliban from other ethnicities and thinking that someone could do bloodbath once Nato leaves is being utterly ignorant.nato is the one who si invading the coutnry and if we have criminals its our criminals like i said its not as black and white.
Kabul is majority Pashtuns and peopel do speak Pashto and there are pashto schools.Kabul is also a mixed city with all Afghan ethnicites living together.Pashto has not reached its level yet and its not because of the wil or "pressure" as you call but its because of lack of resources.
