for a woman......kind of, I'm not saying a woman shouldn't marry, but marrying later creates a whole range of problems, in my opinion women should marry after they have their bachelors education.
Hmmm fair enough.
I used to be that lady who wants to wait till her early 30's to settle down. But according to my dad, that would be considered too late. But as long as i have at least my bachelors and i am an independent women, then i guess the age really does not matter.....even if that means it could be within 2 years or something

Well I think the the idea of a central age is kind of absurd, because everyone has different stages of development, physically, emotionally and psychologically. I think if it takes a woman till 30 to get to that level, so be it. I don't recommend it, but yet again would it be better for her to be incapable of handling marital responsibilities by marrying younger which would negatively impact her and end up in divorce anyways? I think we have to factor in how we can make a relationship last, also understanding our priorities in life.
And not to be too improper but just being honest and addressing serious life issues here, sexuality and sexual needs are an important aspect of marriage/lifein general. Some men and women should get married early if they have strong sexual needs, of course factoring in other aspects of maturity and development as well. Those who don't have those pressing needs, it isn't an imperative. The major concern should be how ready are you to give of yourself of your spouse and how much is your spouse ready to do the same
Marriage means that you're taking responsbility not only for your own needs and wants but also the needs and wants of your spouse; you are no longer simply an individual you are One heart in two bodies at least that's how it SHOULD be. Then of course raising children, can someone imagine themselves raising a 20 year old at 50? Of course with better health awareness, people are younger longer, but a 50 year old is still 50, there's a lot of tenacity required for raising kids. For women since they carry the child in their womb, have this concern magnified many fold because it will be increasingly difficult after around age 30, to bear children. not impossible, but difficult. All those should be factored in and then we can make the right decision for ourselves.

but with that said I would hope I can find a woman who's maturated to a desirable stage between the ages of 21-27
I do wish the best for you, you have shown that you are a great person, and deserve nothing but the best.
You know the guy i am going to get engaged to, had to wait 2 years just to see me in person. And now, since my family wanted to hold off the engagment/nikkah till after i graduate....another 3 years.

InshAllah.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
See that's what I mean, I love the values of Pakhtuns but there are times when it's taken to such a measure that the original intended purpose of those values have been lost and it becomes just a game of "how strict we can be".
In nature, God made us to marry young, it's our cultural/environmental and social norms that make us develop and mature differently; but the instinct to seek a companion and want to feel affection and fulfillment is still there. Why do you think we find people so easily falling into the trap of dating? Their instincts are being manipualted by their environment to do so.
It doesn't help the situation to torment two young people by depriving them their God given right, each other. If there's a halal way to live life, we should make it easy for people, not harder.
