No one knows another person that well before marriage. After being married and living together, that is when each others personality and actual self comes out. Well in terms of Islamic and Pakhtun cultures, we dont live with the opposite gender before marriage.

I dont know my future fiance that well. Of course, i got to know him based on what i could see. But my decision to his proposal was based on if i could see if we were going to be compatible with each other or not.
