Roshina , hi never spoke to you before; as far as bickering goes I agree with you.Originally posted by Roshina View Post^ LOL @ "accept the label." Funny. You sound a bit too angry there, UnknownPrince. Khair kho dey? What makes you think you can impose your ideas on others? Good luck with that -- especially among Pashtuns
@ Idiot: I think you'd be crazy to let others tell you whether you're Pashtun or not, or whether what your family members are doing is acceptable or unacceptable. Ignore the remarks. Their opinions don't change the realities. People who themselves have evil intentions with every action they commit, every thought that travels through their mind assume that every single person must be like that. They don't have the ability to consider the various possibilities of a person's action, hence refusing to understand why someone WOULD work as a translator for whoever/whatever.
In my opinion, no one's more beghairat than the cowards like them.
So my advice to you: Ignore them; let them continue bickering among themselves.
But let's examine the moral ramifications of being a translator on behalf of an Invading Imperial Army.
A.) Does the invading Imperial Army have a moral right to trespass in Afghanistan?
B.) If the invading Imperial Army's presence is immoral, does it then become immoral to assist the agendas of their presence whether seemingly innocuous or not?
C.) Is translating for such an entity therefore assisting them?
D.) Would "ignoring" any moral objections; change the actual moral realities and implications of such a circumstance or would it just be living in denial?
E.) Who are morally qualified to assess this situation, are you? am I? are they? Who?
F.) What sort of moral qualifications are required?
G.) Are individuals like unknown princes remarks "imposing" their views on Pashtoons or really a reflection of pervasive sentiments amongst Pashtoons in which case; would it be views favoring/sanctioning people who assist imperialists that would be in conflict with the Pashtoon popular
By the way I would like to emphasize I don't feel the Taliban represent the Vanguard of Moral Veracity; in fact quite the opposite.
