I meant I know a lot about them. They pay over 110,00 a yr. You live in army FOB base. And they ( MEP) don't trust pashtun linguist and gives them the dangerous jobs, while the Tajiks and Uzbeks who don't speak Pashto, gets comfortable desk job and get paid more as well.

Theirs people ranging from 18-70 who go.

are you tajik or uzbek and dont they actually need pashtun linguists since the whole action is in pashtun dominated areas?

Toramana, not all grades are available. Final exams have just finished. Many still have papers to hand in.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Am Pashtun not a tajik or uzbeki. The government does not trust Pashtuns because they might be sympathetic to the Taliban. So they send them out to go on patrols with army/marine patrols. To see if they are really trustworthy. They have different levels of linguist they are:

Cat I: which is basic low level security clearance. These are usually locals Pashtuns from afg/pak and people who are not US citizens or the govt just dont trust you yet for higher clearance. This is what most of my family are

Then theirs Cat II, and Cat III but who wants to write an essay. Let's just say the Cat III"s are the ones who listen in to your phone calls.

Theirs only about 7,000 roughly Pashto speakers in America.

Not true. There is probably 20,000-50,000 Pashto speakers in the Tri-state area of the USA alone. Have you ever visited Queens, NY? Brooklyn, NY? It has a handful of Pashto speakers.

Why so? Would you rather have people who don't know how to speak Pashto work as linguist? Have you ever visited Afghanistan outside the major cities? If you did you would know how Important linguist are for the afghan people.

If Talib prisoners don't got a problem, as long as the linguist is Pashtun, no one should.
