I don't mind bright colours for young people under 35. Over 60s wearing bright colours is quite something else though.

Innovation is good otherwise we wouldn't have the clothes we have today. I prefer the kandahari ghara myself.

The last one with curtain fabric draped over shoulders -LoL!
Where is NokiaApridi to remind you of correct name khat partog or kamiz partog.
Even calling these jameh the turko farsi name shalwar kamiz pairahntunban is fine compared to ridiculous PATHANI SUIT. Great for MetroPakGuy.

These are all adaptations from india, punjab, pakistan way, trad cut is baggy, big pai, big lastoona, side buttons or band collar, square cut kamiz, no fancy flapped breast pockets, patu on shoulder, a nice waskat and glittery tasseled partugKas/azarband/naRa. And never two tone top botton. Avoid rosy pastel colours unless you are a colourful 'flamboyant' type.

The images you posted are Shalwar Kameez.

And if you go on date in Pakistan, do so on your own discretion. If girl's father or brother see, you will be a dead man.
In india, shalwar kameez is referred to as pathani dress. The original dress of you punjabis is not shalwar kameez but dhoti/tehbund and kurta.

To be precise,This rather is the pashtunization of all the Pakistani ethnicities.

The other thing i noticed among the other ethnicites is the pashtunization by introducing melmastiya in almost all the other ethnicities of Pakistan,Which is hard to find even in the punjabis of india

Some study must be done about cultural influences of pashtuns on punjab and sindh. Another noticeable influence is popularity and use of charsadewal chaplai and pakol in rest of pakistan. In tandoors of punjab and sindh, naan became popular due to pashtuns/afghans.
Beside recent influences, punjab, sindh and rest of india were getting culturally influenced by Afghans/pashtuns since centuries. When hindus converted to islam, they didnt leave their vegetarian food habits for long. Even if you check the british studies, vegetarian food was more popular in muslim punjabi peasantry, the induction of meat based in punjab is attributed to pashtuns/afghans.
There are lot of things distinct to pashtuns, e.g they meet with a hug. Also they have habit of saying salam and replying to it on passing person. Punjabis on the other hand , in most cases, do not have even decency to reply back walaikum salam let alone throwing salam at you. They also sucks in hospitality, would try to dodge that. The recent religous impact of pashtuns on punjabis , is tabligh for praying salat regularly other than friday prayer. (punjabis are regular in nimaz e juma but in most cases dont pray salat of other times), sindhis, mostly , dont pray nimaz at all. A kashmiri told me that pashtuns have made the mosques alive in azad kashmir otherwise his people are careless about it.

They look like plain old Shalwar Kurtas worn all over Pakistan

Lol what about this style of kameez partog? the uploader claims it is the real traditional clothing of waziri tribals.

WANA, Waziristan, Pakhtunkhwa - 2004.A Pashtun tribesmen Zair Khan wearing traditional dress holds his rifle during a gathering in a traditional tribal Jirga (assembly) in Wana, South Waziristan tribal area.

Pashtun are more religious people and can only be matched by the saraiki people,Whom i believe are also deobandi by majority.

My akhroat friend, the dress of Punjabis was never dhoti. Please educate yourself.
