  • roadrunner attacks with a pathetically weak

"you are a sly one, Qunduz"

No she is NOT sly at all.
She's one of the very top members here, known for
her thorough, conscientious explanations and clear-sighted
    observations.
All her remarks are well thought out and she has no guile:
she says exactly what she thinks.
She never minces words, thank God!

So roadrunner, stop offloading guilt and blame onto the nearest
    target:
this is a very typical but insidious syndrome which leads down
a bad road to narcissism and related mental/spiritual disorders]
which can send one to Hell.

        She's very sly.

I'm slightly tempted to expose her slyness on here. Such blackmail shall be considered.

The question was asked because you appeared to be claiming you knew everything about Afghanistan and I did not.

So back on topic. Noone can show any evidence of mass Burkha wearing prior to the wars of the 18th century. I thought you could not.

              • Chadari has been a part of pashtoon culture always? hmmm... nop it hasn't...

has veil been a part of a pashtoon culture always? yes it has been... veil is worn as a sign of respect because covering ones head shows that the person is respectable and is respecting family members and outsiders. women even wear veil infront of their dads, husbands, and brothers, who are mahram to them, and islamically they don't have to wear chadar infront of them. but veil is a part of pashtoon culture as is Lungi or patkai... covering one's head (man or woman) is a sign of respect (i think i repeated myself three times there haha)

most women use their veil to cover their face... which is done differently from provice to province... some provinces pashtoon women hide their face from everyone older to them in the family... and hide their face from every outsider. i have seen women hidng their face from their mother in law, father in law, older brother in law, older sister in law, and even husband!... again its all done out of respect for their tradition.

chadari has not been a part of pashtoon culture always, yes i can't prove but u can't prove it has been either. but what i can do is tell u about what i have seen. pashtoon women use chadari a lot while they are in the city... but back in their own village most of them wear very big veil, extremely loose traditional (gird laman) clothes. they wrap their chadar around themselves, covering themselves completely and half their face...

kocheis don't wear chadari at all... unless, again, they leave their tolai and come to cities...

Chadari is something convenient now for pashtoon women in cities... because wearing those big traditional afghan clothes and wrapping yourself with 7 yard veil is alot harder than chadari. now pashtoon women in cities (and even some villages) wear tighter clothes (i.e. normal kameez partog)... and chadari, which is loose, serves the purpose of hiding their body and face at the same time.

                        • i cant mind my business if you're continuously bullying and harassing people well-worthy of respect. why are you constantly looking for the opportunity to insult her despite her never inciting you?

your behavior is disruptive, rude and contradictory to pakhtun culture, if you can't resist the urge to come to blows with just about everybody in your age group, at least show some restraint with elders.

instead of waving your holier than thou attitude in front of me, take it somewhere else and show it a good time before i get aggravated any further by you than i already am.
I WILL BE THE JUDGE OF WHO I CONSIDER WORTHY ENOUGH OF MY RESPECT, NOT YOU. remind me of m y behavior in future and i just might take your puppy like loyalty to your newly discovered friend in pf and bitchslap you with it.

                          unknown
dzj has an unhealthy obsession with Catya. It is actually scary.unknown dear, i am very obsessive when it comes to my favorite toys and pets. take it as a compliment.

Appreciate Qunduz - was wondering where you were, glad to see you back ! -

                          and Unknown's support here.

It IS a sick obsession which this creature harbors about me
I wrote last week "there are a lot of people who are uncouth here on PF"

dizy swooped in out of nowhere assuming i meant HER.

The truth is, I was making a general statement about others
and had not REMEMBERED her !
[That's probably the only thing that would bother her, I realize now]

She seems so beloved of powerful figures here that no one can raise a word against her.

Therefore, I am even MORE grateful to Qunduz to have had the backbone to speak back to her -- in the most reasonable of terms, too.

I believe any of us who feel this is important have to take matters into our own hands since no moderator will ever stop her as they appear to be spellbound by her, ahem.

She has to be pushed back into her own corner to stop snarling away at decent members, which include many of us. But it's so often me, unknown, kakargirl, etc
who are the recipients of her ridiculously cruel, disgusting and ugly jibes.

Not only are they major barbs which can bring about harm for unsuspecting recipients in both practical and spiritual arenas of their lives, but she makes this site look like really pathetic.

The fact that no moderator will tell her to stop or get off the site as they should. Instead they ALWAYS take HER side and eliminate comments made against her.

Something very fishy going on...just thought I would point this out.

Thanks again, it means a lot to me, Qunduz and Unknown, that you stood up
                          powerfully against her.

                          dear kutiya sher
i wish you had been a bit more forward with what it was that you intended to say in this post. are you suggesting that i am having an affair with the moderators?? or that they are under my spell of the magical powers of black magic?? i am sorry to disappoint you but nothing of that sort is happening.
i get my posts deleted all the time. i have been warned to be banned from this site many times. i have been approached about my choice of adjectives many many times by various moderators as well as the admin himself. just because i don't make a public scene out of it every time doesn't mean i get off the hook that easily or that anyone is in my favor. as a matter of fact, i avoid interacting with moderators and the admin on the base of the fact that i don't want them to do their job and not be on my "side". i haven't talked to bls ever since he became a moderator and i have barely exchanged a few words with mayana.
don't assume that i make my way through life the way you do. you and i are two totally different people. i am not going to compromise with my principles by sugar coating my words and dipping them in honey before presenting them to people like you in exchange for assured access in this place. there is absolutely no satisfaction for me in that. this is the way i deal with life and this is exactly how i well behave in here. i will hold nothing against the admin or the moderators of this site if/when they decide to ban me from here. until then i suggest you gather yourself a posse deal with your frustration some other how.

I AM DONE WITH THIS THREAD.

o, and don't forget to brush your teeth twice a day. before you go to sleep and after you wake up. it will help you not smell fish all time.

                          • no one is playing the holier than thou card. i dont know why you seem to jump to that conclusion. just try to be more respectful of our guests and elders next time, especially when they're righteous and intelligent people who we benefit from. this isnt a lawless jungle where you can come to blows with and insult or cuss at anyone you wish to. we have certain religious and cultural norms we abide by here on the forum and if you want to continue violating them and disrupting the peace, you should rethink your decision to be here.

                              • this is supposedly a platform for pashtuns to unite in the advocating and practicing of our cultural values which includes minors as members and here you're spoiling the atmosphere with an attitude that appears to match that present in a ghetto. keep that kinda attitude for when you're out on the streets dzj.
