I won't just let my wife be independence, She have to ask me first before doing something big.

Gladiator sandals - big NO for me. Well, *some* are not bad...

Gladiator sandals, no for me because theyre something youre most likely to wear with three-quarters, or shorts. Well, I would say its suits that style most. I obviously do not dress like that outside, so with a big flowy abaya, strap-full gladiators would be a walking joke. I dont mind sandals with a strap/band that comes round the sole area, but still, they have to have a formal lady look to them. I dont go for casual wear as much outside. Only inside the house, and to and from relatives houses..though at times, stilletos take the lead, as I wear shalwaar kameez a lot. Flats, yeah with maxi dresses (and a lot more of course), they go perfectly, and around the house...tsapley you know.

Now I dont know what kind of impression I have made of myself...

ha ha Mesbah khorey, dont worry. Yeah i agree with you about what the gladiator sandals look good with. I do think its so cute with jeans though. As long as its not the long straps, NO NO NO. That would look to funny. Now that would only suit shorts. I went to Nordstrom on Saturday and tried some sandals and cannot wait to buy them :D

                      Re: Womens Misc.

ha ha whats up with thinking heels are 'hot' on girls sure they look good, but as a girl i like they way it makes you add an inch or two and it gives you a little 'oomf'.....and for girls that wear skirts, short dresses, etc, yes they like they way it makes their body look. It looks nice but, hmmm i dunno i am just a simple girl :P

i guess i should start wearing flip flops now instead of heels or flats :P

I always wear one of my Afghan dresses for the day of Eid including the Eid prayer

then we usually have parties here, then you know what that means, SHOPPING! :D

Lol, we usually shop *before* Eid, new clothes, matching accessories etc. etc. Ah so much fun. =D

Do you go to the Masjid for Eid prayer...meaning do you wear the dress there?
