They view us Pashtuns as jahil, ignorant, chowkidar types. I remember in Karachi Pashtuns were called akharowts.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Than 'they' better think again! ;-) Things are changing in Lahore and Rawalpindi and they will change shortly in Karachi as well!

Thanks Shehbaz. But everything gadoonwal writes seems to be incoherent. I've been reading his posts for months, but I just don't understand how it makes any sense whatsoever.

Can you explain to me what he was trying to write?

stop playing the race card, I'm pretty sure Afghans or Pashtuns have bad stereotypes of other ethnicities too.

BTW Karachi has a population of like 17-18 million people, you can't generalize an entire city based on a few experiences.

If you can't understand what he is writing than you should not be addressing him at all? For example tomorrow I go to Italy and I can't understand what they are saying shall I say the same sentence you wrote in responce to Gadoonwal's post?

Re-Read his post. If you can't understand it. Don't quote him and say things like you said. That's it.

I never generalized; I'm just mentioning that stupid people who make stupid comments like the one you made exist in large numbers, especially in Karachi. Clearly, you've been influenced, as evident by your attitude.

I guess you are right. But, it seems like his conspiracies are far fetched. Being Punjabi, and having to hear that me and my family are keeping pashtuns down day in and day out is tiresome. We are just simple village people.

Education will empower Pashtuns, and these Jahils will then think again.

Is the new choice of ,,isi,,.
The PTI govt in pashtunkhwa was also the work of isi to divide pashtunkhwa by creating hazara province where 50% people speak pashtu .
Supporting kalabag dam and introduce new pro paki education system and books.
ANp,PTI,jui, pml, ppp etc are all on the payrole of ,,isi,,
The reason they introduce PTI in pashtunkhwa this time cus ANP in its five years term did everything possible to please punjabis by building urdu unversity, supporting terrorism, not supporting pashtu language, supporting hazara province and all of the above corruption but they refuse to support kalabag dam.
The reason they do not support kalabag cus that will destroy ANP ,s vote bank.
So by not supporting kalabag the punjabi mafia introduce taliban khan to finish the job.
Now the pro punjabi and sell out pervaiz khatak support kalabag dam and hazara province.
This begerat even agree to destroy his own village and city nokhar for the good of punjab.
This is how pashtun become begerat.
On the other side Amir Muqam a swatay not only supporting kalabag and hazara but wants to divide pashtunkhwa into more pieces for the good of punjab.
sharmega benanga pakhtuna, tol omar ba da punjabyanu aw parsibanano ,,,kho,,,,,,thalay.
That's a load of bull, if Imran Khan was an ISI puppet he would have been the PM, if he was an ISI puppet he wouldn't have demanded that pakistan apologize to bangladesh for all the atrocities.

Hazara deserves to be a separate province, smaller province are good for governance, and so what if the pop. is half pashtun?Did the ANP even think about non-Pashtuns such as Chritralis,Kohistanis,Hindkowans and Kalashas before they decided to rename the province after one ethnicity?

PTI also support splitting Punjab into 3 smaller provinces, they're not just targeting one province, but they don't control Punjab.

ANP isn't on the ISI payroll, otherwise they wouldn't be so anti-Pakistan, they receive funds from America, and ANP leaders even send their children to study in India, and PPP and PMLN are also anti-Pakistan, the MQM is terrorist group and they're also anti-Pakistan, only PTI is pro-Pakistan, it's a national party not an ethnic one nor a religious one, it seeks to unite people, not divide them.

You seriously need to get your sh*t straight.

Don't get too excited now; no one has been able to hold "Pashtuns down" although some policies have been detrimental. This isn't slavery era. The only problems Pashtuns have is with some two-faced Pashtun, Punjabi(and others) politicians.

i'm not an economist, but the long term benefits are good, because smaller provinces=good governance, every existing province should be split in 3 parts.

ANP is covertly anti-Pakistan, everybody know's it's history, just look at it's flag, the crescent on the ANP flag is in the opposite direction of the crescent in the Pakistan flag, it's a counter-movement, it's a subliminal message.

ANP received $35 million from America to keep silent on drones.

ANP leaders send their kids to study in India, read this article by Khushal Khan Khattak(not the legend, he's the son of an ANP leader), he studied at JNU in India, and wrote about it.
