Unless india kindly gives that land back to afghanistan it wouldn't ruin relations with them. Pashtuns don't only feel bitter towards Pakistan because there holding on to our land, but the fact they give islam a bad name and send missiles into southern Afghanistan, they also discriminate against thousands of pashtuns in Punjab something India hasn't done. It's common sense really, Pakistan and their matrixt government use their cunning ways to commit their evil acts in the name of islam. They give Islam a bad name by making Islam look bad.Originally posted by Luffy View PostIt did become part of British india. What if partition had not happened and India was your neighbour and NWFP was one of its muslim province/state? Then Afghanistan might had same bitterness against india which is now for Pakistan."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Pakistan would not be a problem if it was not corrupt. The fact that paksitan has suppressed pashtun language, art and poetry is a crime. Its policy of giving supply lines to the afghan government while at the same time giving sanctuary to the afghan governments rivals to keep the war on going is also a crime. I can go on and on but its basis of committing these crimes is that its leaders are corrupt.Originally posted by Luffy View PostIt did become part of British india. But if the partition did not happen, Afghanistan would still be surrounded by two big empires ie the Soviets and India. The status quo as it is today forced the Soviets and India to be allies against the West so the Brits were smart in creating Pakistan as its asset in the cold war. Would the great game that the Brits and Russia played have continued with India inheriting the Brits role in that game if the partition never happened. Afghanistan would have still been the buffer but I think afghan leaders would have still employed Abdur Rahmans policy of using both powers on its South and North to its own advantage. One must remember that Afghan leaders only were forced to rely on the Soviets when Pakistan was created and according to Abdur Rahman's autobiography who feared that if the Brits create a nation between his nation and India, that it would be a nation that would be a great headache for his people.
But the reality of the partitioned have put the people of Pakistan along with the people of Afghanistan in a very gloomy situation as we see today.Last edited by khushal; 02-12-2013, 10:34 AM.

renowned Scientist? Hardly, I've never seen him doing any scientific research or publish any peer reviewed papers. The guy Plays around with Numerology; which ironically is Sufi in itself.Originally posted by ډګروال View PostFor example the renowned Afghan scientist Sediq afghan refuted sufis and said that we dont need mawlana to be muslims all we nee dot follow is Qurana and Hadeeth.
If you're unsure of this fact look at this numerological chart he made; you find this in many Sufi books.

His only positives are that he opposes U.S./Soviet occupation and the Taliban.
As for the refutation; I have never heard a single Sufi claim that you NEED Mawlana to be a Musilim, in fact Rumi nor anyone else has ever said dance is necessary, on the contrary he says following Shari'ah is mandatory for spiritual progress.
You're as ignorant as Badlun just in the opposite direction.
He is no different than us,he blindly believes in the words of other men,:
No problem we can be proud of people like Khushal Baba or Rahman Baba,Originally posted by Kushan Prince View PostWhich pashtuns? He was Persian not pashtun. So why should we be proud of a man who named our Attan Dance after himself?
Basically Mewlana Turk Order used some part of attan in their mediation.فرزانہ بہ گفتارم دیوانہ بہ کردارم

Ah...those were the days when the forum was better with quality people like Kushan Prince, rather than the Pakistani Pathan trolls who have infested (and ruined) this site.
A discussion of one of the most famous figures of Islamic civilization widely respected and appreciated by both people of the east and the west, very pertinent especially at a time when the Muslim world and the west have a serious problem of cultural communication.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

You are trying to create division between bar and lar pashtuns ? Calling pakistani pathans or pashtuns trolls doesnt change the fact that they constitute majority of pashtuns...and if your intention is to slander them then dont pose as if you care about them.Originally posted by Bengal_Tiger View Post*Sighs*

You can wear your nationalistic attire...and dont use guns of hatred aiming at pakistan for your nationalistic hatred using bar pashtuns back.
Until and unless you understand what racism or nationalism is...you cant understand rumi or any islamic figure.
Racism in islam:
The Messenger of Allah (saws) delivered the following sermon on the ‘Hajjat-ul-Wida’ occasion. This Sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafat,
"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived...
Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.
O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.
You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. You are all the sons of Adam and Adam was created of dust.**Thus you are all equal. Nobody has superiority over other except by piety and good action.*There should be no differentiation between a black person or a white person, an Arab or an Ajmi (non-Arab).***Even if a black person is chosen as a leader amongst you, then it is your duty to follow him.
Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah; and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly.
Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people."
In light of the above aayah of the Holy Quran, and the words of the Messenger of Allah (saws); it is evident that there is absolutely no room for any sort of racism in the deen of Islam.sigpic"When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!" (2.11)
And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad Peace be upon him , Al-Ansar and Al-Muhajirun) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not."(2.13)
