Request for members to discuss

In light of some issues, I would like a list of members to discuss some things relating to the forum and how best to improve it. What needs improvement.

I will ask the questions after participants have agreed to discuss the issues. I would restrict this to PF Contributors and Seniors who are active. I would also not want any participation by Administrators and Moderators since they are in a position that results in a conflict of interest.


Please feel free to discuss everything here. I am of the opinion that some major top-down changes are needed for this forum if it wants to remain significant. I would not want this forum to develop a dull reputation, and fade away.

It is of my opinion that this forum should be a place where Islam and Pashto are respected. I would like feedback on this.

Trolling is widespread in this forum. An example would be this http://www.pashtunforums.com/religio...d-abuse-24429/. You will find that, many of the responses actually have nothing to do with the topic, instead the members try to troll away the thread, just so they can avoid answering the issue.

DaZahrooJaam sister started trashing other members instead of debating the topic.
Ghaznavi and Soldat dudettes.. started trashing pashtuns and pashtun society which has nothing to do with the topic..
Ozymandias... started blaming Islam.. for his incompetence..in the same thread..
The Wazir dude, started copy pasting.. posts from the thread "Ban Notification",etc..etc..

this is a serious problem as it harms the quality of information in the forum..

It is a forum of admin khan and tor khan and they decide forum rules and policies, moderators assist them in implementing those rules.
If you have problems with non-muslim pashtuns and their support for US..And you think they should be banned...then before athiests pakistanis should be banned...Pakistan is as much responsible as US in destruction of afghanistan...pakistan is the country which afghans hate the most...dhaal is the food afghans hate the most...so before athiests, pakist like me, talal and shehbaz should be banned !

We never said, We have a problem with foreigners..and whether we want them to be banned.

Why this tackiness has been almost ENCOURAGED by the moderators
is very strange.

These people are poor choices to start with.
The only GOOD one is Haris, a fair and kindly and smart person.

I request a total overhaul of staff ;
somehow moderators have this incredible aura of power
and once a moderator speaks , all must bow acquiesently.

In reality most of those who have been moderators
over the course of PF [remember "roshina"?!]
have been so unsuited to representing Pashtuns.

They weren't even Pashtuns or Pashtanas themselves
OR: certainly not in spirit.

They were promoting their own agendas of feminism or as Mahusd
says, secularism

In fact, these ways of viewing life
were promoted almost MILITANTLY - how ironic
that if one says anything in protest, he or she
is labeled
as a "militant"
which in this emotionally anti-Islamic American climate
[see the despicable comment of 'newt gingrich'
about Palestinians being INVENTED PEOPLE as one
tip of the iceberg of the Standard American Mentality]
means a huge shame and stigma for that
person.
This is not fair.

Many people come here probably because there are few outlets
to discuss anything with other independent-minded souls.

But here the hand of censorship is not absent ;
where instead,
the true SICKO CREEPS are patted on the back and
allowed to interrupt every single thread
and make everyone have to stop and deal with them.

If one were to meet these people in REAL LIFE
one shudders to imagine what they would look like.
And would wonder WHY on earth they
were allowed to gallivant for years spoiling every
serious topic.

There is NO excuse that such a person was one of the original
members.
This is not a Golf and Country Club network of "old boys" and "old girls"

It should be a platform for educating many.

Catya is right, there is a lot of hostility coming from a few members, yet there is nothing being done about it due to the gender differences. This is not good, as people might feel threatened by the behavior of these members, and may choose not to contribute in order to avoid nasty confrontations.

So far, we have collected three issues which are widespread.

1. Trolling (Based on what i said)
2. Some Hostile Members, who are given some type of immunity, and have a free pass to do everything, without any consequences.(Based on what catya said)
3. Males are penalised much harsher than females. (Based on what catya said)

I encourage other members to come foreword and share their views...
