Its a good trick which has been used by the Pakistani government to quitten the national sentiments of pashtuns in pakhtunkhwa. Islam has been used as a tool for political ends and its time we wake upto it.

There is no harm to be concerned about ones identity. There is no harm in worrying about and working for the betternment of your countrymen. At the moment there is no khalifat and we are stuck with nationa states. We have to work within this concept for the time being. Helping pashtun nation is helping muslims. Aren't pashtuns muslim? Look at our state, we are in ruins. Let's first get our own house in order then worry about our dear muslim brothers in palestine and elsewhere. Who is in more need of attention than Afghans?

This is a great forum and lets not derail our efforts in bringing pashtuns together.

I know most Pashtun nationalists personally. I know the leaders of Afghan Millat ANP and all former communist and Khalqi leaders.

I've met most of them personally and I've talked about our cause with them. This was years ago before I became religious.

All they can say is, how evil people of other ethnicities are. They are not concerned with betterment of our situation. They are only concerned with gaining power by using language and ethnicity as a tool to rally people behind themselves.

They use famous slogans and poetry of Khattak and others to rally people behind their movement. But all they do is drink Vodka, listen to Naghma and talk nonsense.

Most of them have read a few books like Das Kapital, and Communist Manifesto. But none of them knows about social justice, progressiveness and development in Qur'an and in the life of rasul allah sal allahu alayi wasallam.

They think it is an expression of progressiveness to drink Vodka and dance to Naghma and talk politics.

But no action what so ever. When there was Soviet Union, they were Soviet Unions slaves. And now that there is America, suddenly all of them jumped on the lap of the "capitalist" and changed their slogans from "All proletariat of the world Unite" to "Damocrasi.

I don't give a damn about what dumb Mullah's and stoges of angrez have been telling you people in Pashtunkhwa. The truth is, you are frustrated by the fact that you are hopelessly trying to impose an alien concept of nationalism on Pashtuns trying to reject Islam.

But have a good look at what your counter-parts, the Arab nationalists have achieved in Arab world. Egypt, Iraq and other Arab nations are nothing but brothels and poverty museums were there is widespread corruption, famine and crime.

Nationalism in the Muslim world only brings about corruption and immorality. Because praise of your own tribe, and ethnicity is useless.

People need books, education, schools, hospitals, technology, self determination.

We don't need fancy parties with Ismael Shahid and a few fat ugly nasty *****s jumping back and fort on the stage singing Pashtunkhwa Pashtunkhwa while Asfandyar Wali khan is laughing and enjoying himself with Zardari and taking bribes from America.

Same problem in Afghanistan. Anwar ul Haq Ahadi is a filthy dog who stole millions of aid money intended to build schools, improve education, empower the young generation. We have now still no books in Pashto, no teachers, most of our young men suffer from war and mental problems, they don't have jobs. So they are forced to either blow themselves up or become mazdur and ghulam of angrez and get paid to conduct night raids to dishonor our women and mothers.

You nationalist have nothing to show for yourself. All you have is criticims of Islam and Islamic movements. You have not done anything beneficial yet. All you guys do is express your anger and frustration against Islam.

You all wish to see as dressed in white blouses and pantalons with shiny black shoes and silk ties drinking VODKA and talking nonsense while listening to Naghma.

None of you has ever dared to risk your life or loose your job for your cause. Most of you guys live on benefits in UK, Holland, Germany and North America. And those of you who do live in Afghanistan & Pakistan hold offices where you can pocket money and steal from your own fellow Pashtuns.

Today the entire Afghan government is filled with communists and nationalists. And it is no surprise to see Afghanistan in the top 5 most corrupt countries of the world.

This is because you people have rejected all morality and follow your own desires.

Pashtun this and Pashtun that nothing but cheap talk.

You have not done anything yet.

If any of you even had a drop of ghairat and really was a Pashtun, you would have opposed the gang-rape and indiscriminate killing of our people in Afghanistan. But no! You guys support Americans and Karzai and his dogs because you don't want to loose your chance to earn a few bucks while sucking up to the new masters.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

There are many of those amongs pashtuns. Let's pray for their hidayah.

In all honesty, radical Islamic movements are the reason why people are trying to seek peace in nationalism or communism over Islam. These movements have made Islam a suffocating tool for people. The only way for guidance to come from Allah is for radicalism to be routed out by Muslims. They have to establish that they can no longer be black-mailed. The Pashtun of Afghanistan have to slam, not shut, slam, the door in the face of Taliban, for starters. Thereafter, many things can happen. Until, Muslims don't stand in the way of Islamic radicalism, believe me over time we will have more people turning to anything but Islam.

I did not mean you personally. I was talking in general sense about those supporters of nationalism and pashtun supremacism and communists.

In Islam Muslims are not suppose to live among kuffaar! They are not suppose to live in the land where the law of allah is replaced by man made laws where gay couples can get married and adopt orphans and raise them as gays. We are not allowed to live in societies where during the summer most women wear almost nothing and where drugs and alcohol are sold on every corner o the street.

However, there are 3 exceptions. A Muslim is allowed to go to the land of kuffaar to invite them to islam and spread the message. Second exception is a muslim is allowed to engage in trade and business with kuffaar in their homeland but he is not allowed to stay in the land of kuffaar permanently. And last exception is to go to the land of kuffaar to aquire knowledge.

While living among kufaar, you have to respect their laws, their system and authority over their affairs and you have to treat them in the best manner possible.

I was a minor when my parents braughtme to Europe. I was an agnost even until I was 23. I've turned to become a devout Muslim since 2004. The gradual process has changed me. And I intend to finish my education and leave. I am not here to stay permanently. This country gives me plenty of opportunities for education work and I have double nationality here. However, this society frowns upon the way I dress, they make comments about my beard, and if I ever get married, they will definately harass my wife in public for wearing hijab as they harass other Muslimah's.

Why should I accept living under such conditions? For money? Pleasure?

One of the description of Awliya is that they do hijra for the sake of allah. They move to other parts of the world where they can practice their religion in freedom and to escape prosecution or evil and forbidden things.

We should all study, get our degrees and move back home and invest our lives working for our future instead of getting fat and talking loud about politics and yet, end up dying here achieving nothing but anger of allah.

That is it is so much the target of Islamo-fascists.

I wouldn't say "this site," but we do have a good number of radical Islamists, Muslims who like to believe that only their brand of Islam is the correct one and anyone who disagrees with them is lying, spreading hatred of Muslims and Islam, and is going strait to hell 'cause he/she is of the "kuffar" -- the term intended to be derogatory but is started to become more appealing than those who carve the labels on the "kuffar." You get my point, yeah? With some time, you learn to just pity them and deal with them, trust me.

So, yeah, it's not PF. It's just certain individuals who are allowed freedom of expression and freedom of speech on the forum, that's all.
