    For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."


    The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                    Well I just came to know that PF has kindly and lovingly bestowed upon me this honor for which I am so thankful to all brothers and sisters.

                    Normally my approach in life is that all the credits I leave for others while the challanges ,accusatiuons ad blames I accept and face. However I am very thankful to all the members who despite having difference of opinion and a healthy one I must say have honored my cent in this form.

                    I would also like to thank all those brothers and sisters who send me pm's/emails and apppreciate whatever humble services I could offer for the commuity. They do not participate in the dicussions but have been supportive and encouraging.

                    Thanks raised to the power infinity once again.

                            A person who PM's me saying one must attack Islam gets nominated. This is the state of Pashtunforums. Pamela gellers and atheists and homosexual supporters all get respect and defended. you guys are an Insult to all pashtuns. Stay in the west where you belong, may your kids grow up into good homosexuals and liberals.
