i was once questioned about my "intentions" in private by one of the trolls that i would rather not name. i didn't think of it as much so i didn't bother with explaining myself to him and chose to ignore it. didn't even bother with throwing a tantrum and playing victim.

Besides, I cannot help it if you cannot furnish proof for your views. I wont accept emotional arguments, even if I agree with them in principle. That is an uneducated way to approach topics. The Admin Khan himself has a post sticker here somewhere asking folks to furnish source when they make claims.

being 'uneducated' doesn't invalidate peoples views. some people have lived and their education is from that, not just from good memory of what they have read in books. if you are not capable of self analysis then you should 'educate' yourself in that field.

As I said, everyone has emotional arguemnts they make. However, when I hear the statement that Pakistani Pashtuns are waiting to be saved like some Lois Lane type dame as the Afghan Pashtuns swoop in like Superman from the clutches of Pakistan (Lex Luthor) then I demand proof. Its as simple as that. I used to believe this paradigm when I was young and had no proof to back it up. Now, when folks make that assertion and nudge us into war and genocide, I prefer folks offer more than: Paki + Arab lover as a retort.

Wasnt talking about your allegation regarding my behavior. I was talking about someone making a comment such as: "David Petreus took a machete and lopped off an Afghan baby's hand." I need proof for that assertion. Or for the assertion: "TTP works for Pakistan and Pakistan alone and has Pakistani interests at heart." I need proof for that assertion as well.

Regarding education; John Lennon said Life begins at 40... so you are welcomed to enroll in any GED/higher educational level degree granting institution. Its never too late. Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendys graduated in his 60s.

I dont think its just about PM abuse. I think the only manner of discussion holding this amazing forum back from taking the step toward becoming a phenomenal home base for Afghan think tank style discussions is the inability to answer an intellectual statement with anything but: "You Afghanis hate Pakistan and want it to fall apart" + "You are an Islamist" + "You are a Paki" + "Camel Jocky".

I mean think of the Doha Debates. The moderate throws out a suitable subject and asks the question in such a way that debate gets sparked. The debators dont go: "Well Tim you must be an Islamophobe since you made that comment about the veil" They are expected to provide a rational rebuttal of the statement.

Rather, I urge that just as curse words and slurs are depicted as follows by some filtering rendering the words as ****** that the words Paki, Camelism, Camel Jocky be added to that filtering mechanism.

The next step should be immediate reporting and deletion of posts that answer without citation or referencing and with swan song responses. For example, if Admin Khan posts a an article about Barak Obama and his stance and Mr Obama writes an evidence derived article... anyone who answers with: Obama is not American and he has no birth certificate to back it up should be immediatly asked to furnish proof. If they cannot... the comment should be deleted. I understand the reporting reporting mechanism is there for this purpose, but perhaps a greater attention can be paid or at least more manpower can be alotted to moderate the Political Science, Culture, and History threads to this effect.

I got called a racial slur by a certain member and he got Member of the month.

IMO, there should be zero tolerance for racial slurs, personally attacking, revealing personal information on members, and maybe an infraction should be warranted for minor offenses like inciting hatred. After 3 back to back offenses, they should have their account suspended, and if the offense happens again, they should be banned.
