  • Now may I ask out of any religion, belief, religious or secular. What is good in drinking alcohol? Can somebody tell at least one thing that is good in drinking alcoholics?

People who are addicted to alcohol are slaves of their own lust. Stoping drinking is a step on freeing someones spirit.

PS: I am telling it as a person that comes of a country that drinks at lest the last 2100 years for sure.

Interesting. I guess health care is totally free in paradise (how many physicians per person up there?) and therefore no problem being intoxicated all day and night.
He stated it incorrectly, there will be wine in paradise but it would be free of any harmful effects and would be without intoxication.

Apparently angaar was offended by sangar's simple comment, "A secularist meeting. LOL". Intense degree of emotional sensitivity I suppose.

OK. That's nice to know.I am not a drinker myself but if the Almighty had made wine free of harmful effects on this Earth as well - I think that would have been a good thing too. But as you know we should not question the Almighty One.

                    • so when is the west coast meet up?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The Amir is too kind. No worries, rather when you come across the border to this side of the USA/Canada border, you will be our guest. The newfound demands of fatherhood have make traveling hard for me in the coming months, but I will make it a goal to meet you folks before I leave the north east! And no worries about my ticket as the skymiles have built up over my recent travels!

                              • Amir, that's very kind of you. Same goes to you, if you decide to leave your territory and visit NY. We can drive to BarakzaiAbdali in the whip.

I'm down for any meet up. Just get our very own doctor sahab on board, and it's a feast.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
