I sent a message to the Admin with a couple of complaints, and he advised that I be mature about it and discuss it with the members themselves instead of making a big deal about it and making it personal.

And I took his advice, for which I thank him again and again. We have a great admin here, and we should try to take advantage of his leadership skills and learn something from him; he has a lot to offer us and our nation! Bless him for that.

Anyway, so I messaged you (MakeenMaseed) and another member about whose posts I felt uncomfortable, and both of you felt offended by my messages! I fail to understand why when, to both of you, I sent a second message a few minutes later in which I clearly stated that if I'd said anything offensive to you, then I apologize and that we're brothers and sisters here and disagreements occur among sisters and brothers - still, nothing takes the respect we might have for each other at the end of the day. Was I wrong?

So, really, all I asked you was to stop assuming that I'm a lesbian. And then I said my stance of homosexuality remains the same: Regardless of what I think of homosexuals, it won't affect you, me, or them, so why bother wasting my breath?

I'm not exactly sure what you found threatening in either of my messages to you, a total of two. However, I'm sorry that you did. Oh, wait, the threat may have been in the first message where I said that if I or another continues feeling disrespected by you even after I've asked you nicely to be a bit more civil, then the moderators will be left with no choice but to ban you.

I don't think you should leave; I don't think anyone should leave just because they've a problem with someone else. What? Is this what adults do? Is this what leaders do? Are you going to just quit every time you come across a person you've got issues with instead of handling them more maturely? Whatever happened to using communications as the best means to solving problems? C'mon, folks.

What i find very assuming, is that you can go around and threaten people by banning them but when other memebers disagree with your views you are so quick to object them and threaten to delete them.

Why did you delete your comment on the Anti American Post? where you said pashtuns should blaime themselves and that Americans are an Advanced people, in other words you insulted Pashtuns like a Chaplusi and took side of America. Iam not afraid of you and neither will i bow down to your way of thinking or your threats.

Most of us here can see right through you and your Intentions, you try your best to act smart with us just to get into the good books of others. We know your intentions very well.

To be honest, I dont really give a damme, Most of your bikini views will never reach out of the border of Canada let alone Pakhtunkhwa.

1 Chance-I find you unoriginal and deceitful
2 Chance-A dangerous character who wants to poison Pashtun women with Canadian Feminism mixed with European liberalism
3 chance- A good example of a person who feels ashamed of his/her culture and origins, and wears a tie to feel educated.

go ban me for all i care to be honest, we had a problem on khyberwatch where you again supported Anti pashtun movies such as kite runner that potrayed pashtuns as rapists and oppressors.

Orratgui are you ashamed of pashtuns or does being Canadian make you feel godlike?

@ MakeenMaseed: You've said the same things in other threads, and your asking me the exact same questions here (particularly in how I'm against my culture -- which makes me laugh -- and why I deleted my post in the anti-American thread) tells me that you don't bother to read any replies posted to your questions/posts.

So please, in the future, spare us the pain and read the answers to your questions instead of asking the same questions over and over, k? Thanks.)

Here's one, where you said I'm anti-Pashtuns and that I'm ashamed of my Pashtun identity:

When I put my ethnic/Pashtun identity above all of my other identities [even my religious Identity], why would I ever insult it?
Then I also told you that

And to your question of why did I delete my post, just so you know, it was NOT because I wanted to or because I felt like I was wrong in posting it in the first place.

      Here's why:

Here's the link to the full post, just in case you wanna verify it:
A place where you can simply socialize and interact with the Pashtun diaspora across the globe.

      Thank you.

And where was the threat in any of my posts to you? Asking you to stop insulting members, including me, or you will be warned three times and then banned for breaking PF rules? I see. Well, that's what we tell EVERY member here, not just you, so I don't understand why you've to take it so personally.

And I don't know where you get this whole bikini stuff from. What a pity! This is a Pashtun forum, remember? A dirty mind isn't good for the world, remember that, too.

      Thanks.

I called her a canadian feminist because she said she is herself, then in regards to the Lesbian, yes i made a joke, i was being sarcastic because there is a sterotype of feminists being lesbians, i tort she had a humour and not take it serious.

Put it this way. The Internet is an open forum, most members here live in Western countries where this kind of thing is shoved down their throats. Not for a second, can I begin to imagine that people are not affected when that is the culture in which they are immersed.

People like me, are hardly a walking advertisement for 'Western' values - I'm quite a traditionalist - and yet, some of the most "westernised" Pashtoons here think Tor_Khan is actually, not too bad. I might not like their position one single bit, but on this forum there are many who want to connect to their roots and the wider community and I think we should give them a chance.

Some topics flare up, and die down very quickly, and some topics can be shaped by what we add to them. Sangar Wrora, sharm au hayah sirf pa jaba na wee au na pa Klashinkov culture kee. Pa stargu kee, pa leek kee, pa khyal, pa sochuna kee hom wee.

I find it surprising that a couple of years at (western) universities suddenly turns folk into experts on Islam, politics and Pashtooniyat. Everybody wants change in the Pashtoon homelands - and before we think we've figured out the solutions, we should go and ask the people who live there what they think. The world is laughing at us and personally, I find all the dramatic exits on this forum embarrassing ... another Pashtoon goes down ... great entertainment value for anyone watching how we behave.

There's a massive disconnect that starts with those very qualities that to me - make a complete non-Pashtoon into a Pashtoon. Living in comfortable western surroundings, do we learn so little from our elders that we can't put anything they taught us to any good use? Things, like respect for the people around you, listening to an alternative point of view* and knowing that not every point of difference you have with a person ends in a duzz-duzz shoot-out. What kind of Pashtoonwali is this that we claim to be defending?

*think how matter are talked through in our traditional jirgas

Anyone disagree with a Moderator? Fine. We're human. You're welcome to pick up the disagreement and work through it with the Moderator - invite in another Moderator if need be.

But more than that, if you wish to challenge your fellow Pashtoons (mostly western Pashtoons here), use your skills of persuasive argument. Ghairatmand Pukhtoon agha wee chi da na khpal zaan spakawee, na bal cha.

I agree with most of what you are saying. One thing I don't get is, how being Nar Pakhtun can coincide with tolerating others to insult our religion and call it Arab imperialism.

Being tolerant to different views is one thing, letting ignorant little children walk all over us is another thing.

There should be a set limit that non_muslims or Islam-critics and their likes must not be able to cross.

This is a relatively new forum. And the conflicts and controversies what are going on now will shape the image and status of this forum for the future.

I think it a shame for us Pashtuns to see every online community turn into a stronghold of atheists, immoral people and Islam critics. Just look at Khyber watch and afghan forums.

Do we need this forum to turn in another circus where people come and make fun of our religion and ridicule us?

It's quite embarassing to see the whole Islamic world considering Afghans/Pashtuns as one of the most brave Muslims ever. And yet, when you enter an online community of Pashtuns all you see is ranting atheists and similar type of clowns.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I do admitt iam very emotional,i am no way a attention seeker.

I just get hurt very easily and iam scared seeing my people be so dependent on others, my father always told me never be dependent on others as one day they will wrap your neck with chains.

I am sorry for the big hassle, i shouldnt be wasting peoples time.
