I am a Pakistani born and bread. I lived my life in Punjab, and my grandfather always gave overwhelming support to the taliban. When taliban would come to our villages, they were given deghs of goods. Afghan might not understand what is a degh, but they are large pots full of food. My grandfather never left an Islami person with an empty stomach.
In the city, my grandfather had Pathans and Afghans live next to their house. His kochi daughters would come to our house every day asking for lassi ya baruf(ice). One day my honorable grandfather who was a haaji said to him, no more. He told Khan saab that enough is enough is. He will open the well on their property and install nalka, aur the pump within their house.

My grandfather was a very religious man, and he always wore white. People respected him beyond the village, cities and other provinces.
He was a Chaudhry and always respected all that worked for him.
See, many of you western pathans don't know this, but Pathans are builders, not destroyers.
Our entire house was built by a pathan. Every brick and every roll of cement was built by our family friend Asghar Khan, then his son Farhan Khan. Today, Farhan Khan works for us, and anytime we need a house done, or buildings touched up, we call for Farhan's company. He gives us izzat, and does an excellent job. His family is considered our family.,and we never let him go from our house, without a smile on his face.
My elders even say that Farhan is our family. We have been close ever since his family was offering their services in the bazaar. My grandfather held them in high esteem, and they are closer to us than any Punjabi or Pathan. My grandfather married many of Asghar Khan's daughters with his own money. The weddings even took place in our city house.
Many of you call us Punjabis black or disgraceful. Well I will share with you our pictures.
Here I am.

Here is a picture of me and my cousin Saabhi. This cousin is my father's brother's immediate son. He looks like Rahim Shah so much, that we joke and call him Rahim Shah's haraam aulaad.

This is my uncle's son on the left, and me on the right.
