After reading this forum, I came to realize that Punjabis are so demonized here that everyone forgets we are people just like Pashtuns. My family and I treat everyone with respect and we are equal to everyone else. Pashtun or not.

Every time I read a hateful post here, it makes it sound like we Punjabis put Pashtun children's blood on rice and eat it. My interaction with Pashtuns is limited to Punjab, US and this forum. Also I have a Pashtun friend in Peshawar that invited me to his house, and I stayed there for a bit.

The reason I put my picture was to show everyone that Punjabis are simple people too, and most of us don't care for politics or ethnic politics. I wish the best for every person Pashtun or not, Pakistani or Afghan, Muslim or non-Muslim.

I didn't take it the wrong way.

Nobody said that Punjabis do that.

If that's your only interaction with Pakhtuns in Punjab or US I feel pity for you. As you are in the late twenties and you haven't seen much of a brilliant nation surviving on the face of the earth.

Well to prove that you're a simple person you don't need to put your pictures your behavior can tell that.

    You wish the best, REALLY?

Let me quote you for example,

I'm sorry you feel this way. You quoted me and it was out of context because I was being sarcastic.

Anyways, I do not want to fight with you bro. You are right and I am wrong.

Yaar, every thread regarding Pakistan, someone always writes death to 'porkistan'. Death to pakis ect ect.

I wrote it so maybe these guys that regularly say these things might feel some shame and stop the immature behavior.

You react to quick, that is the problem, you become to emotional. You have to understand that people are often frustrated of what pakistani government and army does. They have done many crimes against people, look at Bangladesh, look at Balochistan, look at the FATA, the whole history is infront of you. Pakistanis need to look at the faults of their Government/Army to become a better nation, we can't be just blind all the time, this is why Pakistan is suffering even internally. Look at how much of the Pakistani Budget is spent on the Army, instead of education, health and other important areas

I am not defending any racism against any group, but some times people say things out of frustration, just like you have.

Let me explain you something because you seem to be very misguided about pashtun and even the taliban. first of all not everyone speaking pashto could be a pashtun. my point you talking about not necessarily be pashtun first of all but pashto speakers. taliban existed for centuries at least the one you are talking about.
the modern so called taliban are political group. they never went from house to house to cllect food.

My grandfather held them in high esteem, and they are closer to us than any Punjabi or Pathan. My grandfather married many of Asghar Khan's daughters with his own money. The weddings even took place in our city house.
What does this mean that he married daughters with his own money? I don't get it.

What I meant was that my grandfather spent money on their wedding, the food, and even bought the newlyweds some furniture. He considered them his daughters just like my aunts.
