These days, even with a degree, you can't find work. I know a guy with a engineering degree and he has no jobs available for him even after 3 years of trying, so he drives a taxi. If that's what you will amount to, then why bother paying £9,000 per year for university? No thank you, I'd rather skip having a debt of £30,000 for 3 years of university plus expenses.

I lived in a building which also accommodated university students, I lived with them for a year when I first moved to London - all they did was drink, party and smoke. A few did study but most skipped lectures. 80% of them eventually dropped out after 1-2 years of university and now all of them are dying of hunger while I have money to burn, literally.

I have two degrees actually, one in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and another in Creative Media Production, but I don't want to follow any of these careers.

Back when I was 17-18, I considered going to university but **** paying that much and wasting 3 years of your life partying and surviving on instant noodles. SOAS was one of the ones I liked simply because if there is no campus, then there is no trouble but their requirements are too high; you need to have like 3 A's atleast whereas I have none.

As a Muslim you should know that even if you fail in achieving that which please Allah, you will still receive the reward as if you did achieve it just because your intention was purely for the sake of Allah and you really tried hard without transgression.
