in the rural areas women wear frocks and in cities they wear dresses that are similar to the Kurta shalwars of India. These dresses are longer and mostly full sleeved with long scarves that are at least two meters. In rural areas, undergarments are not popular. Women mostly make these dresses for themselves of have them made by their friends so most of these women are seamstresses. Scarves and trousers are a must and nothing shorter than a half sleeve is acceptable. Vibrant colors and glitter is very popular for special occasions. Elders avoid wearing bright colors and glitter as its not appropriate for their age.
