if you thought it was a personal attack against you, you are mistaken, but yes it was a comment on your views, you're still free to express them, I just put this out there so others can take them with a pinch of salt.
You have not even made an attempt on these other forums to differentiate yourself on these other forums, it is you, you can deny it thats fine, I wont get into this silly argument but Allah knows the truth so you can lie about it, but it doesnt change my life at all.
You are right I was going to come on this forum only once, no not because it was necessarily a "one hit wonder" as you put it (which I find quite weird, you're not releasing hits, you're just posting on an online forum.....). However, even now I need to get to sleep I've got to go Sixth form in the morning and hence my studies take up a lot of time so unfortunately I dont have the time to go on forums such as this one as well as the Asia Finest forums (I am also a member)
However, this does not mean I dont commend it, forums like this and asiafinest are really good as they encourage cultural solidarity and I hope people continue to use it. It is a better use for Internet than obscene music videos etc. On the other hand, if they're going to do what you're doing, which is generally being unpleasant, I think they shouldnt, but hey thats their decision.
You need to understand everyone has life experiences and no one person' experiences are more valuable than another's. While you may be sitting at home eating and on the computer, a poor Somalian infant may be dying from the famine crisis in the Horn of Africa. Are you more experienced in life than them? do you have more depth? No.
Instead of being arrogant, why dont you prove your "depth" by talking good and teaching others good things and spreading knowledge, that would prove you have "depth", you wouldnt need to say it.
The original post wasnt meant to attack you, it was meant to expose views because I, like you, am extremely passionate about Bangladesh and the beauty of the Bengali landscape, culture, people and language. But I am also a realist. if that makes me a "traitor" then so be it, but as you seem to lack the knowledge of a judge I think you verdict can be ignored here.
One of my best friends is a Pakistani, he lives around the corner from me, his mother used to feed me like parathas everyday, she treated me like another son. I've known him most of my life and his family and he knows mine too. Now we don go to the same school anymore but we still keep contact, we had a our political discussions dont get me wrong but it was held in a respectful manner. If i pointed out genocide charges I made sure i referred to the past. It wasn't him who was actually killing 3 million bengalis...
That is your mistake you dont know how to refer to individuals and when to generalise.
You cant say all Pakistanis are bad or all Afghans are good or all Bengalis are good. If you are to generalise though you should make i clear you are doing so and only for the purpose of intellectual discussion.
I know what Pakistanis think of Bengalis, they look down on bengalis and call us bad muslims when in fact often they are the ones bringing the bad name upon muslims. They called bengalis "black" and "monkeys" during the war to belittle us. What they didnt realise is black isnt an insult. Black can be beautiful. I would rather be in the company of a pious Nigerian imam than a hedonistic, wine drinking Norwegian.
That is the generalisation though, you hating on all Pakistanis isnt going to achieve anything, yes be angry, I am angry too, but belittiling them or trying to play them off against Afghans isnt productive.
Use your anger constructively:
Develop Bangladesh
Demand the Pakistani government to apologise for the genocide
Demand it to recognise the genocide
Gather all the correct and proven details about the war in 1971
Get the Pakistani gov't to repatriate their Bihari citizens
Get Bangladesh's share of pre-1971 Pakistani assets
As for this forum, try and keep to sensibility when posting, talk about afghan culture or history or something.
