We needed the Nato for the following reasons (not limited to) :

- Mu'ammar Algiddafi had strong weapons while the people against him did not have (with exceptions maybe) .
- We needed to stop the killing as soon as possible , Nato might have killed but that's because they have to bomb certain locations.
- As per our knowledge Algaddafi's forces were close to getting to the eastern side of the country.
- No Muslim or Arab country came to fight with the Libyans against Mu'ammar .

but nato was essentially involving itself in a civil war. they will try to sink their teeth into libya once the country is free of the former regime. the west never does anything out of kindness or on mutual basis. nato doesnt care about libyans or libya, they see your nation as a chess piece like afghanistan.

Brother Libya has lots of oil and that might be the reason behind their help, prices of oil increased and the Libyan problem has to be solved as soon as possible ( of course by Allah's willing) .

Whether they came for the people , or the oil , or for any other reason , we cannot just let Mu'ammar stay, 30 thousand within about 6 months is shocking man , Libya is a peacful country, not used to such killing since ages ago . If we wait for Muslim countries to help we might end up like Syria, Muslim and Arab nations are so weak , there's no other choice .


Last but not least Us and the Nato are doing in Libya almost what the US and others did in Kuwait , i.e. it's not like what's happening in Iraq or Afghanistan . Most Libyans are fighting alongside with the Nato, and Civil war is not possible since we don't have groups like in Iraq , we are over 95% Muslims , most if not all are Sunni (Math'hab Malik) .

Let them take whatever money they want , lives are more important . Waiting for other Arab or Muslim countries to "fight" with the Libyans was not an available option .

In sha'a Allah Muslims become strong again very soon . May peace come to Afghanistan , Libya , Iraq and every where by Allah's willing .

Brother you don't have a clear picture of what's happening , Please read about or ask Libyans about what was happening during the ex-president's time , who by the way was cooperating with the CIA (if you saw the news about the documents they found) .

And last but not least , did you want more thousands to be killed ??? If such killing did not happen Mu'ammar might have lasted for some more time if Allah wants that it . over 40 years is really enough , around 30 thousands people got killed is more than enough .

I don't care if France, the USA. , or the Nato have interest in oil, what I care about "right now" is stop the forces of the ex-president from killing more people . One person matters , what about thousands ??? And other Arab/Muslims did not come to protect the weapon-less people.

And by the way I'm not a member of any anti-ex-government group and my passport is Libyan and I visit Libya from time to time and most of my family and tribe is in Libya , i.e. my opinion is an opinion of a Libyan , not a foreigner watching news on T.V. or listening to "made up facts" from people.

I'm not happy that we're asking for help from non Muslim countries , but was there a choice ??
