I repeat, how Pukhtoons have been sidelined to their rights, not how they have been outnumbered.

Says enough about the credibility of the source. If Pukhtoons don't form the largest group then definitely do they form second largest group, followed by the Hazaras and then 'some' Uzbeks. I can even find sources which claim Pukhtoons make up the largest group, another source claims 80% is Tajik, and there are sources which tell the ethnic make-up isn't certain yet.

Dude, not everyone is Pakistan; Not everyone wants to meddle with other countries! Even if so, any source as to how those spies are involved in Pakistan? Any names of those spies' agencies? Any source regarding their 'interference in Pakistan' and their reasons regarding it?

And if Pukhtoons even today saw Tajiks as equal then even today they wouldn't have been worried about Tajik presence in the government who unlike Pukhtoons don't dream of Tajikizing the nation.

Not racist, just hungry for power and that comes from both Pukhtoons side and Tajiks side and to some extend also Hazaras and Uzbeks. Minister of defense is a Pukhtoon, minister of education is a Pukhtoon, minister of finance if a Pukhtoon, just till recently we had minister of interior who was a Pukhtoon. If they as Pukhtoons can't reach out to Pukhtoons then why on earth do you expect the Tajiks to?

I got Afghan history book in Dari at my relatives and hope you can read Dari to when I quote that line and post it here. There are indeed many very interesting facts twisted online, many. And if they won't give up on anything since 2001 only (which is equally their right) then Pukhtoons haven't done so for over two centuries. I can't remember any non-Pukhtoon moaning so bad about it?

Yup, also the changes in Pukhtoon regions after 2007 is biased. Also the increased number of calls for Pukhtoons to join the army after 2007 is biased. Also those Pukhtoon areas who have signed agreements to fight against the Taliban after 2007 is biased. In fact, all that happened after 2007 is biased because changes are impossible, right?

Exactly. That's why Afghans only came to find out about Uzbek culture after 2001. That's why Hazaras started to flourish after 2001; First Olympic winner for Afghanistan, a Hazara. First winner is talent contests, a Hazara. First creator of home-made plain in Afghanistan, a Hazara. First female activist after, a Hazara. Let alone what they could have done if Pukhtoons hadn't used them as slaves! Why weren't they able to flourish during the fair and equal rule of any Pukhtoon? And if indeed it's only Tajiks who are delivering discrimination by disliking Pukhtoons politically then please also elaborate on dislike towards Pukhtoon rulers by Uzbeks, Hazaras, Nurestanis, Kohistanis, Pashayis, and you name it?; Of whom none has a problem with Tajik govern presence today? Why do they think Tajiks are acting way more fairly than Pukhtoons have all those centuries? Or are Pukhtoons born innocent but yet hated because of ignorance of others?

As a Tajik, reading this post and a few other of your topics over the past hour, I must say...you guys make the new Tajik/Khorasani ‘nationalists’ (whom I have had ample of disagreements with in the past) seem like pacifists and Gandhi!

You guys would have to be the most confused, racists, ignorant, and ugly people one would ever come across!

I have yet to meet one Pashtun in person who openly spews 0.01% of the racism you guys just uttered out in this topic, but it now makes me question what is actually in their heart, my view on Pashtun’s has been shaped by the one's i know in person and not internet. But I swear on Allah (swt)...if you guys are representative of the broader Pashtun view which they only express over the internet and can’t express to my face...then f*ck afghan-unity and f*ck Afghanistan!

Unity with you guys is utterly impossible!

LOL You want to seek revenge?

One tiny valley of 10,000 poorly armed but lion-hearted Panjshiri Tajiks broke the jaw of your 50,000 armed rotating Talib army composed of Afghans, Pakistanis, Arabs, Chechens, etc. And you think your solitary tribe can knock of the whole Tajik ethnic??

This time from Herati Tajiks to Mazari Tajiks to Badakhshi to Kabuli Tajiks to Shamaliwal Tajiks, we are wide awake and see the broader picture, unlike 1996 when many of us openly supported Taliban.

It is one thing to cowardly blow yourself up and in the process kill and terrorize civilians and label that "jihad" and "fighting," but quite another when you have to pick up a gun and fight man-to-man, valley to valley.

If Tajiks wanted to seek revenge against the Pashtuns, we wouldn't know where to start and which massacre and crime of your people to start with, but we will let Allah (swt) judge and punish your specific ancestors for their crimes..

But be assured, if you want to "seek revenge" then from Herat to Mazar to Shamali to Kabul, a new generation of natives are ready to follow the footsteps of our Ayaran e Khorasan/ Heroes of Khorasan: Abu Muslim, Said Yaqub Saffari, Saman e Khoda, Mir Bacha Khan, Ahmad Shah Massoud, etc by DEFENDING our people and breaking your jaw and embarrasing you in this world and in the next!

If your "heroic" Talibs even capture a m^3 past Chahar Asiab and into Kabul Zameen, then I will post my picture on this forum with dirt rubbed all over it. You have my word!

Poorly armed, ha? Didn't know kalashnikovs were 'poor' weapons but thanks for the reminder! And about the so-called Panjsheri resistance, why did those very same Panjsheris flee to Panjsher when Taliban arrived in Kabul? Ehh, maybe they knew that Taliban will never be as interested in Panjsher as they were in Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar, Kandahar and Kabul?; The provinces of Afghanistan?

I am sorry but wasn't that exactly what Taliban had done in the ninetieths? And if not poorly armed Westerners today are about to be knocked then how will their trainees a.k.a. Tajik soldiers survive?

It must have been your 'openly support' to Taliban which made Panjsher and Mazar biggest resistance of Taliban? It must have been your 'openly support' to Taliban whom you claim has literally tortured every single non-Pukhtoon Afghan? It must have been you 'openly support' to Taliban why ethnic tensions kicked off the second they were in charge? Right?

Apart from that, nor could Tajiks do anything because if many Pukhtoons in South are still not giving in to over forty plus NATO states, what makes you think Tajiks would make a difference? And if you are wishing for justice anyway, don't forget to curse the Tajik ancestors for their crimes as well.

Why didn't you do so when your hero Massoud ran away from Kabul which eventually led Taliban to control entire Kabul? Or are you again exchanging words without any fear as you know that over forty NATO countries are on your side anyway? This time you can't even say you are poorly armed!

Having said all that, if you have read my comments then I am very strongly against division of Afghanistan and Afghans and I believe in forgetting and moving on, which many people struggle with. But if I can put a Pukhtoon in his place who spreads nonsense about Tajiks (which I have many times in this thread), then so I can do regarding non-Pukhtoons who do nothing less (like I am doing now).

Taliban were never interested in Panjshir? LOLL Their biggest military offensive was against Panjshir in 1997 when literally 30,000 plus of their men attacked Panjshir and nearly a third were slaughtered and the other half ran away with tails behind their backs. Read up on it!

Firstly it was not just Panjshiris in Panjshir. Panjshir became the craddle of all Tajiks and other Afghanis who wanted to fight the Pakistani occupation.

LOL Nobody fled from Kabul. Kabul fell when Nangarhar Shura compromising of Hajji Qadir, Yunus Khalis, and others sold off to the Taliban. When Nangarhar fell to the Taliban. Kabul’s only line of oxygen was chocked. Food, humanitarian aid and everything else into Kabul was blocked.

The Northern Corridor from Balkh and Qundoz to Kabul was the other path from which Kabul could be fed, but that too unfortunately at that time was at the hands of Uzbeks of Dostum, who were too busy fighting amongst themselves, and against the Hazaras.

Furthermore Taliban made it clear, that the 1000 rocket per day of Gulbodeen in 92-94 would seem like a picnic compared to what they will do to Kabul.

Faced with a blocked eastern corridor, a blocked and unstable northern corridor and the threat of another repeat of 92-94, Massoud made a pragmatic and ultimately successful military and humanitarian choice. He wasn’t going to sit like a duck in Kabul waiting for Taliban to shell his positions and starve his men and the civilians to death!

The situation was 180 degrees opposite then when the Taliban captured the north and west last time.

Tajiks were divided, naive and motivated by an unsustainable concept of Afghan unity. Herati Tajiks were not listening to Northern Tajiks. North Western Tajiks of Balkh/Qundoz/Faryab region felt betrayed by Shamaliwal Tajiks for not helping them against the Uzbeks and Hazaras. The Shamaliwal Tajiks were disunited amongst pro-Rabbani and Pro-Massoud factions.

Furthermore, Massoud’s Tajiks had just come off a brutal civil war where they sided with the Pashtuns of Sayaaf and Haqqani, against the Hazaras and Uzbeks. So there was no unity amongst Tajiks, Uzbeks and Hazaras what-so-ever (This was changed in 1996-2001 resistence, where Hazara and Uzbek came under Tajiks)

It was in this context that the Taliban took over. Many Tajiks wanted peace and stability and openly welcomed the Taliban, since they thought Taliban were King Zahir Shah’s men, and would restore Zahir Shah to the throne.

Today, Tajiks are united, see the bigger picture, they know who the Taliban are, we see the benefits of unity amongst ourselves and then amongst the Hazaras and Uzbeks. Furthermore unlike 1996, most Tajiks, especially the young see that calling themselves Afghan and preaching unity is pointless since Pashtun will never accept them as equal brothers in Islam, and they are motivated and armed by the achievement and knowledge of their past, and the idea of the remergence of Khorasan brings a chill to their spine.

If you follow current developments, you would know that the entire Northern front of Balkh is under the strong leadership of a potential successor to Ahmad Shah Massoud, a guy by the name of Atta Mohamad Noor, the Governor of Balkh. He has created a disciplined paramilitary force of 10,000. Similar paramilitaries are being raised elsewhere in the northern region, by him.

The Uzbeks are also under the influence of Tajiks now, the recent parliamentary elections verified this. Not even the brother of Dostum could get elected. All the Uzbeks elected are young, educated, nationalist (anti-Pashtuns) who see that Tajiks now are pro-separation and are happily coming under Atta’s umbrella.

So you my friend are living in a dream world if you think Taliban will go past Chahar Asiab (Southern outskirts of Kabul, close to Wardak) and into Kabul or Herat!

First of all his men were counted as 15,000 men with kalashnikovs while Taliban were roaming around with topaks. Moreover, you have got absolutely no prove that literally 50,000 men went up against all men of Massoud and Pakistanis, Arabs and Chechen were included in those 'Taliban army'.

Even today none else but Panjsheris themselves is interested in Panjsher. That's the reason only five provinces have always been tried for by every Afghan government in order to maintain control over the entire country; Balkh, Herat, Kabul, Kandahar and Nangarhar. Panjsher never has been in that list, nor is because Panjsher can never produce the need all these major provinces do.

It didn't answer if those Panjsheris were oh-such amazing resistance to the Taliban then where was their resistance regarding Kabul? Actually, since Arabs and Pakistanis were only once who recognized Taliban as a leader, who would provide Afghanistan anything at all in first place?

I repeat. It is one thing to cowardly blow yourself up and in the process kill and terrorize civilians and label that "jihad" and "fighting," but quite another when you have to pick up a gun and fight man-to-man, valley to valley as an army.

Sooner or later, when the American’s leave....the Taliban will have to put down their suicide vests away and come out of the caves in Marjah and approach Kabul and Herat. It is then when the real war will begin...there will be a whole army of motivated Tajiks (and other ethnicities) ready to defend their land. War is ugly, I'm not glorrifying it and this war will be no exception. But unlike American soldiers whose motivation is to just survive and go home to spend the handsome salaries they earned on deployment and live to see their genourous veteran pensions, Tajiks will be fighting for our land, our culture, people and our history.

See I have read over your posts too. You’re no different to the confused, racists that I was referring to. If anything I have more respect for the Nationalist Pashtuns who want a separate Pashtun homeland away from Tajiks and from Punjabis than your lot.

Your group on the one hand preach Afghan unity from a legal and international law perspective and claim all citizens within the present geographical borders Afghanistan are Afghan, and then on the other hand you chuck out these notions of international law when it comes to Pashtuns of Pakistan, by preaching Afghan unity from an ethnic perspective with Pashtuns from Pakistan.

You can’t have both dagha and pagha! You have to pick one...Afghanistan or Pashtunistan!

I have made it clear I believe (or should I say believed) in unity and calling myself Afghan. But I’m beginning to see it’s pointless. You say you’re against the division of Afghanistan but your are too dim witted to realize your support of Loy-Afghanistan is in itself the division of your Afghanistan! You fail to see that your fantasy “loy Afghanistan” will NEVER EVER be accepted by one non-Pashtun inside Afghanistan.

You see the slaves that are the Taliban, as a source of pride, as your “Pashtun resistance” yet you fail to see that the biggest threat to your Afghanistan is this “heroes” of yours. You fail to see that the Tajiks, along with other ethnic groups will NEVER accept these heros of yours and will demand and fight separation.

Finally, let me say the only reason Afghanistan stayed intact in 1992-1996 when Uzbeks and Hazaras were calling for partition and autonomy was because of Tajiks and Massoud, who opposed it and in the process went to war with Uzbeks and Hazaras.Today, these new Tajik nationalists are not Massoud. They don’t call themselves Afghan and they actively preach separation. They will jump at the chance to lead and inspire the rebirth of Khorasan.

The biggest threat to your Afghanistan, is your own people.

Same was with Pukhtoons. Don't forget that Najibullah was the very same Pukhtoon ethnic which Taliban belong to as well.

Massoud himself had quiet some Pukhtoons in his league, mind you. As I said, it was more about hizbs back then, not ethnic.

And this very same feeling goes through Pukhtoons, that Tajiks will never accept us as their fellow countrymen because they are yearning for their own Khorasan. Today even if a fly dies, it's Taliban's fault. NATO starts bombing places where there is Taliban, Taliban does the same by attacking areas where NATO workers are. If NATO first of all was man enough they wouldn't force every missile through air.

And this is where I want an answer. If over forty countries with all the weapons they need, all the knowledge they need, all the technology they need can't defeat a bunch of illiterates called the Taliban, how can you even think of Afghan army being capable of that? Doesn't that seriously boggle your mind?

And this is exactly what Taliban thinks they are doing; Defending the country against foreigners. That's the reason I seriously don't see the difference between the approach taken by the Taliban and approach taken by Northern Alliance?
