If your answer is NO, then your argument holds no merit. Also Sher Shah Suri never once calls himself Pashtun; we just know he's Pashtun from his ancestry. Likewise with ibn Sina and Rumi their lineages are Persian.
So if someone is born with a specific language it makes them a totally different ethnicity? An Arab who gives birth to a English-speaking boy can be of different ethnicities? Rumi and Ibn Sina were Tajik, but that doesn't make them Iranian.

You didn't think this statement through, you've basically debunked your own reasoning

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

I don't think you have understood. An Arab has a child who hasn't yet learnt Arabic and instead has learnt English as his mother tongue. Does it make him Anglo-Saxon? You tell me Yemeni.

And what are the odds and Arab wouldn't teach their child Arabic?

You're presenting an absurd scenario since English would in this case NOT be his Mother Tongue.....Also we're not talking about life in this era, but the 13th century. Holy crap.

          Got it Pashtun wannabe?

Atta Mohammad Nur contacted the UN over the issue of Iran and Turkey jointly applying to UNESCO without including Afghanistan. Iran apparently has said it welcomes Afghanistan to jointly register the Masnavi as a work of World heritage with Iran and Turkey.
