Dont know, the author was not a British though. His knowledge might not be first hand but hearsay. One thing he surely is right about, Tajiks were "peaceful" subjugates of Afghans and Uzbeks in 1867.Originally posted by Afghanfootball View PostI believe that the Tajiks in the book that you shared must be either refugees from the Russian empire invasion of Turkestan or it could be the same divide and conquer tactic by British. @History of Pashtuns

Faggot History of Pashtuns cherrypicking British sources to demean Tajiks, rofl. Dumb Paki can't read Farsi and the best works of historiography on Khorasan/Afghanistan (local histories like Tarikhnamaye Herat, Bukhara, Sistan, etc) and the region are written in Farsi so it is a mistake to consider this guy as some kind of history aficionado.

Do you have any sources to back this up? What is a "real" Tajik? One can easily concoct arbitrary criteria to distinguish "real" Pashtuns from "fake" ones. Many Pashtuns are actually Pashtunized Dardics. There are Persianized Dardics as well now referred to as Tajik. Most ethnic groups emerge in a similar manner, doofus. Pashtuns don't have a monopoly on East Iranic-ness otherwise you could say even Pamiris are Pashtuns. Some Afghan Tajiks used to speak other East Iranic languages like Parachi, Ormuri, etc. What matters now is that they speak Persian and practice Persian culture and are thus culturally different from Pashtuns. There is a reason why the centers of intellectual activity in Afghanistan are Kabul, Herat, and Badakhshan.Originally posted by Afghanfootball View PostEveryone who speaks Farsi in Afghanistan and is not Hazara nowadays is called Tajik. However this is false in reality there are three different types.
1. Real Tajiks- Real Tajiks are those whos ancestors came across the Oxus during their russian occupation. Real Tajiks are a mix of Sogdians, Persian, and Turks.
2. Farsiwan- These people have the same origins as Pashtuns, have been here just as long, and their just persianized Eastern Aryans.
3. Persianized Pashtuns- Name speaks for itself really. Im guessing their mostly from areas like Kabul and Herat.
These people are only counted as Tajik because the Russians wanted to use cultural similarities of Afghanistan and Tajikistan to their advantage.
To bad us Afghans have been so easy to brainwash.
Tajiks north of the Oxus and Afghan Tajiks from Balkh, Takhar, Kunduz, Samangan, Faryab, etc. essentially practice the same culture and are of the same ethnic stock. Afghans like to say Moulana/Rumi was from Balkh but he was technically from the Tajikistani portion of Greater Balkh in Vakhsh, Tajikistan. Southern Tajikistan is historically known as Northern Takharistan.Last edited by Win Butler; 04-25-2016, 07:26 PM.

Historical Dictionary of Tajikistan - Kamoludin Abdullaev, Shahram Akbarzaheh - Google Books
"In BadaḵÅ¡ān and PanjÅ¡ir of Afghanistan, Tājik was a heteronym bestowed by the local Uzbeks, and adopted by the ruling Pashtuns and the local Persian-speakers themselves in comparatively recent times. In journalistic usage it is increasingly applied to speakers of Persian (or Dari, the official term coined by a Pashtun nationalist government) in Kabul and throughout the north of Afghanistan, with the exception of the Hazāras."

I never said Pashtuns have a monopoly over East Aryans. It is the Pashtuns, Farsiwan, Tajik, and Pamiri who are the descendants of East Aryans. I know most ethnic groups grow by influencing neighbors however the difference here is Farsiwan were never called Tajik by Pashtuns until the Russian influence. Those farsiwan have the same origins from Aryana as Pashtuns only difference is they were Persianized while real Tajiks have obvious Turkic genes. Compare the farsiwan im talking about with Pashtuns and they looked pretty much identical.
Rumi was not born in Tajikistan stop your Irani bull****.

Lol, if Tajiks are Mongoloid then Pashtuns are triracial since Tajks cluster west of them genetically.Originally posted by Aryana View PostDon't think like you own Farsi culture mongoloid.Last edited by Win Butler; 04-25-2016, 09:23 PM.

You are a pseudo-historian who exclusively cites British sources, lel.Originally posted by History of PashtunsWin Butt, a Tajik is Nar-Shaz i.e She-male in mannerism and behavior. On top of that they have short legs and thin limbs. So historically they have served as bitches of other nations. Their masters assigned them various tasks, including writing for them. Tajik is wannabe Persian wannabe any way, claiming the literary achievements of the originals. Thats pathetic. Not that Persians themselves are very impressive people, but fake and wannabe can not reach to the status of original.

They didn't call themselves Pashtun either. Persian traditions like Shahnamah-khani, Masnawi-khani, etc. are most prevalent in those parts of northeast Afghanistan and they had much more disciplined and effective fighters than Pashtuns during the past few decades. Many Dards and Indo-Aryan groups now call themselves Pashtun, what should we call them then?!Originally posted by Afghanfootball View PostHere Irani

Rumi was not born in Tajikistan stop your Irani bull****.
Why couldn't he have been born in Tajikistan? He was born in Wakhsh, do some research. Do you think the modern borders of nation-states have remain fixed throughout history? Southern Tajikistan has as much of a claim to Bactria as Afghanistan you ****ing retard. "Real" Tajiks have Turkic genes? Sa'adi and Rumi use the term Tajik in their poetry. I guess they were Turks, rofl.
Btw, quit citing historians with no credibility. If you want to learn Khorasani/"Afghan" history you need to know Farsi and read historians like Ghobar, Ahmad Ali Kohzad, etc. Many local histories have been written about Herat, Balkh, Sistan, and other areas in Farsi as well during the medieval period. Don't rely on illiterate fags like Aryana and HistoryofPakistan. Then again you're a dumbass whose sole goal is to homogenize and Pashtunize the history of the region, l0lLast edited by Win Butler; 04-25-2016, 10:16 PM.

The chinky-eyed Mongoloid wants to teach Pashtuns about their history. The history of Afghanistan/Khorosan/Aryana has been primarily influenced by Pashtuns and Persians (Tajiks aren't Persians you dumb****). You're just a Persian wannabe who is desperate to try and give some history and culture to your chinky-Mongoloid ethnicity.Originally posted by Win Butler View PostThey didn't call themselves Pashtun either. Southern Tajikistan has just as much a claim to Bactria? When they're chinky-eyed Mongoloids and Pashtuns spoke a language similar/descended from Bactrian? That's just as dumb as saying that Turks can claim the Hittites, just because their geographies are similar."If a lion comes and takes your share, go get it back from the mouth of the lion"

Aha retard, so Rudaki who was from Panjakent (Father of Persian poetry) wasn't a Tajik? What a filthy misinformed cretin you are.
The Samanids were also local Persianized East Iranics, not Persian migrants from modern Iran:
"To begin with, it gives us the whereabouts of the village of Saman. The Nasabname tells us that it was a settlement near Tirmidh; this location was confirmed by the 19th century French scholar Guillaume Capus who visited a village north of Tirmidh known as Shahr-i Saman in the 1880's (8). The fact that Tirmidh was situated in the same Tukhari province as Balkh may account for Narshakh's impression that Samankhuda was ruler of that city; the Nasabname also gives the impression that Samankhuda had some measure of authority over the Balkhis (9). (W.L. Treadwell, "The Political History of the Samanid State", p. 66)
And yes moron, southern Tajikistan=northern Takharistan/Bactria. Genetically they are closer to Iranians and West Asians than most Pashtuns.

Pashtuns have nothing of their own. They lack of history so they need constantly to steal Persian heritage. Thats why they claim Rumi, Khorasan and Ghorids for themselves. They want to call them "Afghans" because Pashtun history is just made up fairy tails. Just look at the "greatest" Pashtun literature work ever created: Pata Khazzana. Forgery at its best. Hilarious lmaoOriginally posted by Win Butler View PostThey didn't call themselves Pashtun either. Short-legs are mostly tenants and subjugates of Afghans and Uzbeks, this speaks volumes about the extent of Tajik history. Their pride, the Kohistanis of mountains , are also absent from history. We only hear about Uzbek rulers of Badakhshan.Originally posted by Firdousi View PostPashtuns have nothing of their own. They lack of history so they need constantly to steal Persian heritage. Mongols raped many Tajik boys and men, mistaking them for women. With the feminine features, you Tajik boys are/were good only for one thing, Wear anklet and start dancing
