I have met many Kakars from Balochistan, on average they are darker-skinned compared to Yusufzais, Mohmands etc. I have shared "history of Kafiristan" on this forum, there were red-complextioned Kafirs in much of central and eastern Afghanistan , who got conquered by Pashtun tribes from sulieman mountains and their wives were taken by Pashtuns...remnants of those once "kafirs" , now muslims, are called "Dehgans" in eastern Afghanistan....its not a coincidence that, Pashtun tribes of eastern Afghanistan (and those who migrated from eastern Afghanistan like Yusufzais and Ghoria khels) have higher ratios of lighter features. Blood of red-complexioned Kafiristanis flows through them (even in 18th century, pashtun tribes were raiding kafiristan and abducting their women). Even then, Afghan-Pashtun is quite dark on average compared to others in Afghanistan.
Zhob is birthplace of Pashtuns, their inhabitants are reference to look for typical faces of pashtuns.

          1. Shir Shah Suri wasn´t Pashtun since his grandfather came from Ghor/Herat. Kakars are Pashtunized Gujjar/Gakkar/Kakkar/Gakhar tribe that adopted 500 years ago ''Pashtu''. Kakars are originally from Peshawar valley. We find still Hindu and Muslim ''Kakar'', Panjabi, Pashtu, Sindhi speaking ones.

          2. He was a central asian, thus a ''horse breader'' and an adventurer in India. His name ''Muzzafir'' point it! India was never home of horses or a country where horses were breeded

          3. The term Ghor is the southern dialect of ancient Sogdian/Parthian (depending on dialect it was also called Goor and Gowra) meaning mountain. In Pashtu mountain may be called as ''ghar'' but ghar is still not ghowr, goor or gowra. A divertation of the word ghar to ghor/goor or from ghor/goor to ghar is not plausible. Sogdian and Parthian were strong languages/dialects (see modern Persian-> darakht, barg, sag, peshak, karte, ...)

          4. Pashtuns never existed in the modern region of Ghor. They were always recognized in the eastern parts of Ghazni (meaning Zabul) (good preferences to this is tarikh al yamani, kitab-e-yamini utba' or al-Birunis description about the ''Afghans'')

          6. The name Sur was later adoptet by many Indians, particularely Indo-Muslims to honour Muslim rule in India (hub of paganism) as it was always a tradition to adopt noble names of the glories Muslim past .. none of them are related with the ZURIS (not Suris). Some Pashtuns adoptet it when they became one of the integral parts of Zurid empire

          7. Shir Shah´s grandfather moved from Ghor to ''the lands of the Rôhillas'' married there the daughter of an ancient ''Afghan'' chief. Later his son did the same. While Farid ''Shir Shah'' himself married a princess of the Little Moghules, an Iranian nobility and possibly a Rajput princess.

          8. Shir Shah´s mother-tongue was Persian. His skills in Arabic and Hindustani were very good. The court language was Persian, Turki and Hindustani with view Arabic elements (Sayyeds, Nawabis and Khwajas) .. nowhere it is mentioned that Pakhtu was used or Pashtuns have served in the court. Pashtuns were used as soldiers with some privileges, so were Baluchis and Kashmiris but also other people (Kabulis and Badakhshanis).

          9. To invalidate all your claims about his origin you just need to read (a copy of) Sarwani´s Tarikh Sher Shahi, Farid Khan´s court biographer!

          10. The Zurid era is not a Pashtun, Indian or Tajik era or a dynasty but that of a multi-ethnic confederancy (Tajiks, Pashtuns, Baluchis, Rajputs , Arabs, Turks) created by force of the political situation of that time ... don´t know how someone can make claims on this family for his own ethnic. The Baluchis who always played an important role in overthrowing India by supporting Lodhis and other ''Afghan'' dynasties are mostly not mentioned. Without Baluch people the Lodhis, Khaljis, the Kharejits, the Sayyeds and some other could never take over India

          11. The Zurids made claims on figures from Persian Shahnama. I strongly doubt that ''Pashtuns'' knew Shahanama then. Even if that was the case why should they have used names from it, a book where ''Afghans'' were demonized as much as possible (thiefs, murderers, barbarians, cave-dwellers, brain-eaters, ''ghul'' ... Akwan, Kek Kohzad, worshipper of Ahriman (meaning shaitan)..)

          12. Among the Persian elites in Delhi many representatives and survivors of their ''cousins'' and brother in laws from Herat/Ghor, the Kart Maliks, were part of the Zurid court. At least 12 vezirs and former Kart-Malik members were ruling and administrating with them in Delhi.

Sorry but i have to say your wrong. The Kakar Pashtuns are definetely Pashtuns and they are different than the khatri kakars. Ghor was also a Pashtun region like most of afghanistan was before invasions and migrations caused these tribes to flee elsewhere. Even the mohmands were noted as "ghorakhes" meaning they were from around Ghor originally.

          But its most likely that indian kakars were descendants of afghan kakars who migrated to south asia and mixed with the local population. I have posted this before from a blog on here and i will post it again;

In india some Kakar tribesmen converted to hinduism but many remain muslims, although some intellectuals say that these hindu Kakar are the slaves of Kakar Aghans who ruled India for a long time so they adopted the surname of Kakar.
Kakazai The Kakazai (see spelling variants below) are a Pashtun (aka Pathan) tribe originally from the Laghman province of Afghanistan...

So more then likely they adopted the kakar surname from their old slave masters who were kakars from Afghanistan. Also Kakars originate from eastern afghanistan, not peshawar.

I don't see anything "south asian" about the female you posted above. You need to get your eyes checked if she does. And Hamim Kakar is probably from Jalalabad where its warmer than average making him more tan or he just has high South Asian admixture.

Either way your pictures are cherrypicked.

Might seem weird to you, but Pashtuns do have weird names like this. E.g Multan Khan Afridi who fought against British. Its not that he had connections with Multan, parents named him so.
Generally speaking, you're an idiot. Kakars have nothing to do bettanis unlike Kakar's who are ghurghast. Its funny because you still can't explain why a Pashtun tribe would have the name "baloch khel"? tribal names mean everything to Pashtuns, if you carry such a name, you are most likely descended of those people.

All Pashtun tribes were nomads at one point, so what's your point?

Its seems like exposing your tribe has taken a toll on you emotionally now that you want to make Pashtuns swarthy skinned even they were never seen as such. Pashtuns have such features because they are Aryans, not because of some fictional rapes that happened according to you.

I even posted a few pics of some swarthy skinned nuristanis in a thread here to everyone claiming them as "european looking." If you even been to afghanistan, you should know that that average Nuristani looks no different than a Tajik or Pashtun, the light ones are cherrypicked.

Whats the matter, why you are trying so hard to prove that Kakars dont look South Asian? You are not even a Kakar. All of the persons in your pictures look South Asian except for Helena Kakar, and judging from her name, she must be mixed race. Moreover Kakars in Afghanistan are dispersed and mixed with others, some are even in Herat.

More than Lohana, its the Kakar tribe to which scholars have attributed Hinduish Indian origin. If Nuhanis are Lohanas of Gujarat and Sindh, then Kakars are khatris of Punjab and India. So must be the case with other Pashtun tribes.

I'm not cherry picking, they are famous kakars not random. And both have indian features, it's not about skin color either. There are also some light skinned kakars, but the ones I posted came up first in google search. Point is I doubt kakars of afghanistan have one particular look, they are diverse.

this bazurg look less typical Indian then the ones I posted.

Now I'm pretty sure the pakhtuns in northen regions are lighter then the ones in southern where most kakars are from. In Pakistan lightest people are Chitralis aka former kafirs, and they live in north of Pakistan. It's not impossible what HoP is saying, pashtun identity never had anything to do with which women they marry. This will explain why pashtuns in northen regions are lighter then ones in southern region.

Stop trolling, there is no such thing as a lighter northern or dark southerner, its all in your head. I don't even care about this skin colour crap but you and Mr. Luffy keep bringing it up because its all you south asians think about. Most "Euro looking" Pashtuns come from the south like Kandahar, just look at Karzai. But on average Pashtuns are lighter skinned than Tajiks in Afghanistan and will look the same regardless of what region they live in.

The Fact is purer Iranic looking Pashtuns live in Afghanistan and not Pakistan since they are mixed with the local indic population. That's why Kakars or Ghilzai's will look a bit different than their Pakistani counterparts. Even Asad Durrani the ISI head looks more south asian than Pashtun and some guys on here before were picking on him if he really was Pashtun.
