NO wonder you feel a kinship with this Bengali guy; you're like the Bengalis of Afghanistan, claiming to have heredity from some far of distance land to evade the stigma of being what you actually are. Tajik

Tajiks are advanced? What planet is this? Regardless they're still tainted with the historical stigma of being a Subordinate people.

It's like Punjabis, they're also ahem ahem hem "Advanced" heck even one of their own won a Nobel Prize in Physics, but we still see them as a subrordinate people.

Malala is NOT Punjabi, she's a Yusufzai, i don't believe History is Punjabi

I'm simply saying from a Historical Cultural level, Tajiks were seen in a very similar way to Indic peoples. Maybe slightly better.

I don't agree with denigrating Tajiks, ...It's like Rednecks in the South who degrade blacks, it's usually the older generations that carry on that nonsense strongly. But one cannot deny the South used to be very repressive towards blacks, The same is true in Afghanistan in respects to Tajiks.

Sorry, Maybe I've been rude to you unnecessarily. Sometimes you act like you're a wannabe or something. But in my heart of hearts, I honestly don't care , none of this stuff matters in the end.

Khyber.org has some of the Ghilzai geneaologies

but Saak Khel and Sahak are mentioned, but I believe Khyber have confused Saak and Sahak as being different. Any reference, Saak, Sahak, Saak Khel, Saakzai are all the same clan. and they're branch of Hotak.

So they are not a subset of the Ghilzais?

This is what I found out about them.

Yes, the name itself does indicate that they may be connected to the Sakas i.e. Scythians.
They are Ghilzai's for sure, not Durrani like farty's post is saying.

Even donkeys are taken more seriously then afghanis here, at least they are worth something.
