My definition of pashtun is very simple and probably a lot similar to yours which is why its not as important to me. Any one can father a pashtun any one can learn pashto and any one can adopt to the culture. I dont think any of those attributions are worth marking some one representing pashto or pashtuns.

so wtf did i just finished saying? you know what rihana? unfortunately pashtunwali at this point is just another overused term that has replaced it's initial meaning in to a false impression that is being passed on to you guys from generation to generation.Originally posted by rihanaLima you are confusing things.
A Pashtun should be measured by his Pashtunwali.
A Good Pashtun should be measured by his morality and his personality.
when i said that pashtunwali didn't mean anything to me, i didn't mean that i had no clue what the word meant. i simply meant that some people are under the impression that speaking pashto, dressing up in pashtun cloths and being born to a pashtun father is what pashtunwali is all about, which it's not.
that idea doesn't mean anything to me because i don't like or respect the means by which it is represented by the majority of "pashtuns".
the idea behind pashtunwali is universal. the only difference is that God's other creatures still recognize it as self conscious and you people are stuck to your narrow mindedness behind a word you carry around with you with so much pride and arrogance but don't know **** about.
try working on building some character so you can relate to each other with some compassion and don't end up slitting each others throats like a bunch of animals.

Well said!Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:
[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.
[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.
