wrora the best thing about afghan sikhs is they follow our culture too dress code ect they dress like the afghan pashtuns, they speak pashtu and yes they praise the pashtuns.

I use to have sikh neighbors when I was a kid. My family always respected them and we would share foods with one another. I guess it depends on the persons character and maturity on how they treat sikhs in afghanistan.

          Two possible reasons:
          1. Ranjeet Singh's rule
          2. The 1947 partition riots

Before advent of British , plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were captured by Sikhs for some years. Sikhs mercilessly crushed Pashtuns to establish rule. It was british who relieve us of sikhs.......compared to sikhs, british are remembered positively.......even today when some one is very cruel then we compare him with a sikh.

How were Pashtuns involved in the partition chaos? The cursed Durrand line had already been made before that.
What I meant was that his family or acquaintances might have been caught up in the 47 riots. (That was of course a supposition from my side, as I dont know Luffy personally.)

I am only talking about marwat Pashtuns.....the only contact we had with sikh people was in ranjeet singh era and it was bad period for us.....currently there are no sikhs in our area.
Sikhs have good reputation in those areas of khyber.P who have still sikh population like peshwer, khyber agency.

remember each tribe of Pashtuns have their own history, for example my tribe has bitter history with sikhs while pashtun tribes of kandahar have observed sikhs as peaceful merchants.

no, although i don't see how that has anything to do with my lack of faith.

i've never met a pashtun who would be considered as even remotely pious, not in australia anyway.

I think sikhs are generally very nice people. I met a sikh guy at work, he had to walk for very long in hot weather, so I gave him a ride. we had a very nice long chat on so many things
