        Interesting.

So would you renounce your pashtun and Islamic identity for better opportunities as well?

This would just exhibit that you are a selfish person.

            That's an irrelevant question.

But the point that I am trying emphasize is that I cannot compromise my economic or financial situation for my Imaan.

In US I can make money and provide monetary benefits for my family.

However, I cannot curse my culture, religion and nationality in return.

I like the fact that I make money in US. I also like the fact that I respect my parents, pray to Allah swt, am polite. I like my Pakistani food, music, and my people.

I wouldn't trade any of those things for dollars.

Perhaps you have no attachment to the land because you are not a farmer, but when the zameen you love provides you food you automatically hold it in your heart.

I meant that i agree with admin khan's assessment of the situation, i didnt say that i endorse it. Read the Question of thread.
The main incentive for pak pakhtuns to opt for pakistan are better economic oppurtunities in the country and miserable state of Afghanistan.

Also i've noticed that the Pashtuns that live closer to the Punjab border are more pro-Pakistan and the ones closer to the Afghan border are more anti-Pakistan.

For example, people from Kohat,Mardan,DI Khan,Lakki Marwat,Bannu,Nowshera and Charsadda support Pakistan, whereas people from Swabi and FATA support Afghanistan; Swatis used to be anti-Pakistan but then after the operation in 2009 they've changed.

There are some places in KPK where Pashtuns are a minority such as Hazara and Mansehra where the people are Hindkowans and Kohistanis, and Chitral and Kalash where the people speak a different langauge.

Hazara and Mansehra voted for PTI and before that PMLN, and Chitral voted for APML(Musharraf's party).
Every Pashtun district would vote for Pakistan, including the ones in FATA. The areas closer to Afghanistan may have a higher percentage of anti-Pakistani people but overall they support Pakistan. They are mostly brainwashed into diverging their hate onto USA instead of Pakistan. In FATA, a couple of people might support Afghanistan, but in KPK and North Balochistan, every Pashtun is a patriotic Pakistani. The only Pak Pashtuns that hate Pakistan are the ones living abroad or in FATA.

I want to disagree with you but I really can't, you are mostly right. I do live abroad. My family that is in Pakistan though are not "patriotic Pakistanis", only some second cousins in Mardan.. the rest of them are mostly indifferent. They are not proud of Pakistan or their national identity and they are Pakhtun first but they acknowledge that their nationality is Pakistani even though they would prefer a read Pakhtunistan/Pakhtunkhwa (they don't want to join Afghanistan because they know things there are as bleak/worse there)

I spoke to a Pashtun girl who's from Afghanistan and she told me that Afghan is actually a national identity and that anybody born in Afghanistan whether Tajik,Pashtun,Uzbek,Hazara or Sikh is equally Afghan; so whether Afghan meant Pashtun 300 years ago means little to modern day Afghans; i think using a national term interchangeably with an ethnic term is confusing and is actually misinforming other people not from the region.

So if you don't like being called Pakistani, you should just call yourself Pashtun(instead of Afghan).
Which is why they should rename Afghanistan Khorasan.....

i've noticed that too, the one abroad think they're superior and don't want much to do with South Asia, and the ones in FATA have genuine reasons to dislike pakistan because they're marginalized

Yesterday, here in the GTA a Pakistani singer named Faakhir or something was performing (Halal food festival) and he said he will sing a song in Pashto and people started booing.. me and my sister started chanting "Azad Pakhtunkhwa" and a few pakhtuns (maybe afghans who knows) joined us and we got the dirtiest looks hahahaha.

So Afghaniyat would amalgamate Tajik,Pashtun,Nuristani,Hazara and other cultures and Pakistaniat would incorporate Punjabis,Pashtuns,Sindhis,Baltis , etc that's what historically has happened in Italy,France and Germany when those countries were really diverse and no such ethincity as Italian or German ever existed until less than 200 years ago.

Although this natural evolution of culture and identity could be subverted by the powers that be.
How many Pashtuns are marrying non-Pashtuns in terms of percentage (divide the number of Pashtuns marrying non-Pashtuns by the total population of Pashtuns multiply by hundred). That is a ridiculous arguments. Should the military of Pakistan which is actually Punjabi military receive a severe blow the possibility of which has increased after the election of Modi, every other nationality will jump off the board starting with Baluchis.

There would never be a Pakistniyath identity and things will revert to their natural historical order.

There are no stats about inter-ethnic marriage in Pakistan or Afghanistan, but i've noticed that inter-ethnic marriage is increasing and i personally know pashtuns married to non-pashtuns; there are also pure Pashtuns in Pakistan that vote against secession apart from some in FATA.

Should the military of Pakistan which is actually Punjabi military receive a severe blow the possibility of which has increased after the election of Modi,
lol that is factually incorrect something i notice nationalists on this forum love to say; Yes, the majority of Pakistani soldiers are Punjabi becuse their the largest ethnicity but Pashtuns are second largest ethnicity in the army, there also many Muhajirs in the army, Musharaf was a famous Muhajir; also many of the 'Punjabis' in the army are Seraikis,Potoharis and Hindkowans as well Kashmiris.

There have been only 5 out of 15 chief of army staff's that have been Punjabi, around 3-4 were Pashtun, 2 were Muhajirs and one was a Bengali(Iskandar Mirza).

The current ISI chief is a Muhajir, sothis whole 'Punjabi army' is a myth that anti-Pakistani fascists perpetuate to make it look like there's Punjabi hegemony over the army.

Modi can't do anything to Pakistan because Pakistan won't invade India neither is Pakistan supporting rebels in Kashmir anymore; Modi wants India's ecnomoy to grow and he can't afford a war; on the other hand Pakistan has nothing to lose.

every other nationality will jump off the board starting with Baluchis.
Instability in Pakistan would cause instability in the entire region; just go ask the user Herati-Tajik, he supports the division of Afghanistan like many Farsiwans, and there are Baloch nationalists that claim all of Helmand.

The disintegration of Pakistan would cause other countries to break up and the borders would, an Azad Punjab would mean that Punjabis in Indian would probably secede to create a Greater Punjab(similar to the Khalistan movement in the 80s).
There would never be a Pakistniyath identity and things will revert to their natural historical order.
That is a ridiculous because there is no such thing as a natural historical order; borders are man made and so are ethnicities; a natural order would mean there would be no countries in the world , for some ethnofascists on this forum history only began 250 years ago lmfao
