Both the movie and the TV-serial based on his life are in the Hindustani language.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

Ghazi Abdullah Khan Achakzai, among the forefathers of Milli Mashar Mahmood Khan Achakzai, was also a great fighter and freedom fighter in the 1st Anglo Afghan War. The current Qilla Abdullah in Southern Pakhtunkhwa is named after him.

From a bollywood movie Palay Khan , based on 80 % true story . They dint sing in real and obviously some spice too so 80%..hahah ..
The guy Palay Khan's ancestors migrated from Khost Afghanistan some 200 years back to Zhob , which is now Killa Saifullah . He by tribe is Kakar and here his great grand children are now called khosthi bc they migrated from khost Afghanistan to Killa Sifullah , which is my village too. He fought in 1930's against British Raj being in refuge of Nawab Mohammad Khan Khan Jogezai kakar , who is my great grand father too. Palay Khan's family still lives in our village . any ways lets come to the story .. In movie they put some spice , but the base of the real story is , He gets involved with a high rank British army officer's wife not daughter , where it's the wife who sends him the message of love and later they got involved and he would meet her and date her in dark nights . She saved him from the Britishers many times by favoring him but the Britishers till the end dint come to know why she is saving him . :P. I have got his original pic which came down to me by my ancestors .

By the way kakar tribe is considered to be the most or second most largest Pasthun tribe.. so those dont know just dont read the history , but just listens. We have got the bad habit of thinking and considering each of us superior n try temper with history . so in this regard try to read the history written not by a Pasthun.. that gives more better picture as he writes without getting being bias .By the way there is no pashtun tribe which never fought against samraj empires etc.. every Pasthun got a very proud history .

Sher shah suri belonged to suri tribe, a tribe of lodhi confederation. Suris and lodhis have nothing to do with kakars.

kakar are belong to the ,,gharghasht,,clan of pashtun.
suris are not related to kakars.
The suris originally came from the mountain of ghor after mohammad sur their leader moved to sulaiman mountain. There are still some suris in herat afghanistan where they called ,,zuri,,.

palay khan was not kakar. He was living in area dominated by kakar tribe.
Kakar is the largest tribe in south pashtunkhwa. There are kakars living in kandar and helmond too.
Palay khan ,s supporters were mostly kakars.
As far as i know from someone close to his family palay khan was ,,syed,,pashtun.
After all he was pashtun hero no matter what tribe.

I think there are various theories regarding origin of suris simply because they no longer exist to explain themeselves.
                          @gadoonwal
If suris originated from ghor mountains then they are related to lodhis as ghor was homeland of all lodhi tribes. When ghilzais defeated lodhis and expelled them from ghor, then all lodhi tribes e.g lohanis, noranis, niazis along with suris went to hindostan where they established lodhi sultanate.
I have shajra of lodhi tribe, suris is mentioned in it as its branch.

As sher shah suri is a great figure so many tribes have claimed him to be theirs. Fact is suri was a very weak and small tribe in hindostan therefore not much is known about this tribe. Sher shah was a self-made person, he did'nt rose to power because of his tribe .

I am Kakar from Herat which is very close to Ghor and my grandfather always told me that Kakars are originally from Ghor and it's border areas in modern Badghis.

There are a large number of Kakars in Herat too, dont forget that guys.

One of the pashtu poet in the 10th century name malak yar gharsheen was from a village name ,,,,kajran,,, in ghore and belong to kakar tribe.
Not a single pashtun left in present day ghore after the mongols invasion.
There is small number of pashtuns in the south of ghore still left but their language is changed .
