Origins of present-day Nuristani peoples remain a mystery although soldiers of Alexander the Great have been implicated. Physically, the people favor Europeans; blond or red hair and blue or green eyes are seen more frequently than in other Afghan people. Alexander's records from 327 BC mention his expedition there and his armies' defeat by fierce-fighting mountain tribes in the Kunar River area, where they sustained considerable losses. Not long after when Alexander died, his army disbanded but whether remnants of his forces remained in the area is not documented. It is interesting to note, however, that Nuristani games echo those of Greece – javelin throw, shot put and a discus throw using an 8" round, polished stone. Village competitions are held and trophies awarded, culminating in an annual tournament.

..Y-DNA haplogroup R may be the most numerous Y-DNA in the world today. It is the most prominent haplogroup in Europe at ~50% and the United States at ~42%. The origin Haplogroup R is located in Central to West Asia, although a precise region has not yet been determined. The origin of Haplogroup R dates to 30-35kya in the Paleolithic Era and Pleistocene Epoch. Its entry into Europe at this point coincides with the spread of the Aurignacian culture across Eurasia. Haplogroup R is further linked with the spread of proto-Indo-European languages that took hold as the early languages in large portions of Europe and Asia.

Eurasian people are clustered as one supporting a western migration, of the ancient Aryans, not from African into South India 20,000 year ago Dravidians are not the same..nice try! A new theory has emerged still supporting the aryan migration only from Iran and Afghanistan, south to India and back north into Eurasia
..Place: Iran or southern Central Asia Estimated Number of Tens of thousands Homo sapiens: Tools and Skills: Upper Paleolithic Your next ancestor, a man born around 40,000 years ago in Iran or southern Central Asia, gave rise to a genetic marker known as which marked a new lineage diverging from the Middle M9, M89 Eastern Clan. His descendants, of which you are one, spent the next 30,000 years populating much of the planet. This large lineage, known as the Eurasian Clan, dispersed gradually over thousands of years. Seasoned hunters followed the herds ever eastward, along the vast super highway of Eurasian steppe. Eventually their path was blocked by the massive mountain ranges of south Central Asia—the Hindu Kush, the Tian Shan, and the Himalayas

...However, mitochrondrial DNA (mtDNA) haplogroup diversity in populations living in Turkey, Georgia, Iran, and Central Asia suggested that the predominant direction of gene flow was from west (the Fertile Crescent) ..
Estimations based on glottochronology indicated that the split between Indo-Aryan and Indo-Iranian proper took place around 4700 years ago [93]. At that time, Kalasha, a Dardic language (Indo-Aryan branch), broke off from Indo-Iranian which is itself ancestral to Persian, Tajiki, Baluchi, Ossetian, just as it is to Indo-Aryan (Vedic Sanskrit, etc.). Accordingly, the Kalasha-speaking population
became a genetic isolate possibly because of drift phenomena.
