Yes.. Unfortunately it completely split up my family. I feel like telling everyone about all my family tribal history so go ahead and read it My maternal grandparents are both Mohmand (Mundikhel to be precise). My maternal grandmothers family was split up a bit (Jalalabad, Afghanistan and Peshawar, Pakistan). Luckily the rest of the family is still in Jalalabad and some in Ghazni. My paternal grandparents weren't as lucky.. My paternal grandfather is half Burki and half Niazi, both got split like crazy between south waziristan and paktika afghanistan. A lot of the members from my fathers side ended up in British india in the late 18th century, but luckily they managed to keep the pashto alive (but quite weak) thats why mine is weak as well, but inshallah I will be fluent soon. Oh yeah, those who are eligible, make sure you vote for my paternal grandfathers 1st cousin, imran khan in the next pakistan elections! He has personally told my grandpa that he is still proud of being pashtun and will inshallah learn pashto in the future.. but his first goal is to get pakistan out of its current mess

i read that the line has seperated a lot opf families but i actually never have seen a afghan pashtoon who has family in pakistan. so my question is to pashtuns in pakistan and afghanistan, do you have family on the other side?

We are all family, but time has taken it's toll, and we have forgot everyone of out members from either side.I'm from Pakistan, and don't know if I've got any family in Afghanistan, but I can pretty much guarantee u that there will b some members of my family there. All pakhtuns started from a few brothers anyway, so we are all related in some way, shape, or form. PEACE

I got a cousin who is currently working as a NGO in Afghanistan. My great great granfather was a Police officer in Kabul. Most of my family lives in South Waziristan but due to military operation they moved to Tank/DI Khan. I have family in Islamabad too.

I dont have cousins in the UK.
