The sad thing is you dont know anything about Islam. Poor kid, has been brainwashed.

You claim and accuse without discussing any of them. In Afghanistan people would tell you that you wet tens of heads without being able to shave one! Here I need to enlighten you that I’m your Baba when it comes to study of religion. Remember you can not labels people infidels here through quoting Koran verses. Do you realize how incredibly stupid your beliefs are? Instead of believing in facts and theories that have gone through rigorous testing, you choose to believe that the entire earth is 6,000 years old (even though carbon dating CLEARLY proves that the earth is billions of years old), that a angle brought words of God to a illiterate men to write a book that is thousand of years old (which you still abide by - ridiculous!), and that once we die there are some nice golden gates in the sky waiting for us to spend forever in?
People do these mental gymnastics to make their beliefs logical in their own mind when they are clearly not. I know this from first hand experience. I used to be a hardcore Muslim and I would be presented with a scientific fact but I would shrug it off saying "oh yeah god did that, or i guess god messed up, maybe?" Why did I do this? For the same reason everyone else does it: I was scared of death the unknown. Once I realized this fact, I faced it, and I'm happy I did so. I no longer fear death and my life is much more enjoyable because of it. To end, in the words of Mark Twain (something like this): I was dead for millions of years before I was born, and it never inconvenienced me once

Haplotypes of Pashtuns (South Afg)...Below are the most common haplotypes of Pashtuns from Afghanistan's south from www.yhrd.org. They can be used to find the Haplogroups for Pashtuns using the utility at http://www.hprg.com/hapest5/hapest5a....htm?order=num.

When I used the software above for the haplotype with the marker 13,16 (DYS385a,DYS385b), the Haplogroup determined was G2c as shown in the table on the right with a fitness score of 63 and probability of 100%. When I did it for the haplotype with marker 14,17 (DYS385a, DYS385b), the Haplogroup was H with a fitness of 99 and probablity of 100%. For the rest of haplotypes, haplogroup found was Ra1.

Genetic characterization of male lineages of Pathans from Pakistan

2 National Forensic Science Agency, National Police Bureau, Islamabad, Pakistan

                Introduction
Cultural and linguistic affiliations divide the people of Pakistan into 16 ethnic groups with diverse origins. The evolutionary antiquity and endogamy of Pakistani populations generate a high degree of genetic differentiation and structuring. Hence to obtain the most reliable and conservative frequency estimates for forensic purposes and to estimate population history require that regional or ethnic databases be established. Major ethnic groups of Pakistan include the Punjabis, Pathans, Sindhis, Seraikis, Muhajirs, Balochis, Hindkowans, and Chitralis. The Pathans represent the tribes who speak Pashto (Eastern Iranian branch of
                the Indo
‐Iranian language family), inhabit mainly the North West Frontier Province (N.W.F.P.), adjoining tribal areas of Pakistan, and southern and eastern parts of Afghanistan, and are the second largest ethnic group in Pakistan. In the present study, to better characterize and understand the male lineages of Pakistani populations, 22 Y‐STRs and 18 Y‐SNPs were analyzed in 270 unrelated Pathans from the N.W.F.P. and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan.

Sorry friends. I made an almost fatal mistake i.e., both populations studied are Pashtuns; one to the north of Hindukush of which a sample of 44 unrelated Pashtun males was studied and the other to the south of Hindukush in which the DNA profiles of 145 urelated Pashtun males were considered. The subjects of the experiment also provided geneological information of at least two generations. Below is the related excerpt from the paper.

"Sample collection: Blood samples were collected with informed consent from 189 unrelated Pathan males from Afghanistan. Donors provided geneological information for at least two previous generations".

As I mentioned earlier, the study indicated statistically significant difference between the genitic data of the two populations (Pashtuns north of Hindukush versus Pashtuns south of Hindukush), which made the researchers suggest maintaining independent gene databases for the two Pashtuns. The authors argue Hindukush posed a barrier to the gene flow between the two Pashtun populations and that is the reason for the difference.

According to the study (Table 4), 3.4% of the northern Pashtuns genetically match population of Anatolia (Greece and Turkey), 7.2% that of East Asia (Korea, Malaysia, Philipinnes, Taiwan, and Vietnam), 26.3% that of South Central Asia (Bangladesh, Bhuttan, Nepal, Newar, Kathmando, and Punjab) and 63.1% that of Southwest Russia (Lipzeskaja and Penzenskaja regions).

Pashtuns south of Hindukush on the other hand have genetic match with Anatolian population (Greece, Turkey) by a percentage of 3.6% and with Southwest Russia (Lipzenkaja and Penzenskaja regions) by a percentage of 96.4% (Table 4). The researchers determined this based on Correspondence Analysis(CA), NJ, and Admixture Analysis.

One can clearly see the relatively greater variation in the gene pool of Pashtuns north of Hindukush. The reason for the variation may be the intermarriages of Pashtuns in the north with other groups in the area due to the Hindukush impeding such relations between north and south.
I'm a Pashtun from the north (Qunduz) and I do understand that Pashtuns in the north are more prone to mingling with other ethnicities. However, we must also take note that these other ethnicities we're talking about share relatively close DNA with Pashtuns themselves ( I believe ), so I don't see why there should be such a vast difference in the gene pool.

Are you sure they mention atoms, or ants? I'm just asking, because from what I've read back then even if "atom" was mentioned in the Quran the Arabs would not understand the word, and thus I don't see why God would bring down Atom into an Ayah to a group of people who would not understand it. It's like trying to explain rocket science to cavemen.

What kind of stupid analogy is that.

Arabs were pagans, so wouldn't the concept of praying to one god that wasn't an idol make them confused?

                        Lemar,

You usually get hard when something tries to pin Pashtuns with Caucasians/Aryans.

If that's the case, that is why Afghanistan is always in a f*cked up state.

They don't know who they are. They have Europeans and Iranians calling them "Iranian", and look now we have people calling us "Caucasian" from the Caucausus.

Iranian doesnt mean the current Iran or Persians!
How many times one should explain this?

to be honest with you I dont know nothing about the Caucasus but as people we are Caucasian.

What's so wrong with "Afghan", and Pashtuns are from the areas they live in now.

I have heard of "Iranian" not being the same, but we are now called "Afghan" and the Persians "Iranians". So that's the end of that.

                                Pashto= Indo-Afghan language, not Indo-Iranian language.
