You are correct, many in our nation have staryed from the word of God. However many have not, we have maintained the ways of our forfathers very carefully.

Do you place a mezuzah on your doorposts of your homes and on the gates of your cities?

Do you refrain from eating any levened products on the 7 day passover and do you eat maztah and recite the story of the exdous on the first night?

Do you blow the shofar (rams horn) on Rosh Hashana and fast 25 hours on Yom Kippur?

There is so much confusion here.

First of all, Semitic and Aryan are linguist terminologies, not factual racial terms. There are 3 main groups of human races i.e. Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloids. Aryans, Semites, and even Turks are Caucasoids. In the US, Arabs, Afghans, Pakistanis, Indians and Whites all register under "Caucasians". Aryan doesn't mean you have light skin blue eyes or blond hair. Those are genetic mutations, and they occur all over. There are Blacks with such mutations, Asians and so on. Aryan association with Nordic/Europids was the result of pseudo science employed by Europeans, particularly the Germans, in pursuit of rendering a master race. Their own research led to many of the discoveries that findings such as light skin, light eyes are in fact genetic mutations, abnormalities i.e. Albinism.

Who are the Pukhtoons? Well Pukhto is not a semitic language, it is an Indo-Aryan/Iranian language. Iranian doesn't mean "IRAN", Iranians (Persians) just hijacked the name. Iran simply means ARYAN. Though today Pukhtoons represent a collective of all these different groups merged into one entity. All have contributed one way or the other to the genetic, cultural, historic and language of the Pukhtoons. The Pukhtoons of today are not the Pukhtues of the past, nor the Pakhtas. Respected Yos, our ancestors invented theory of jewish origin of Pashtun to boost infront of their rival mughals that they are descendants of prophets. There is also another popular theory that all pashtuns are descendants of khalid bin walid, a sahabi of Prophet Mohammad, which is unbelievable to accept.
