how on earth are a few thousand hindus and sikhs gonna defend afghanistan ?
infact it should be muslim afghans defending the minorities, that is if you are proud to have them there.
You care about Afghan nationalism, but i thought there is not meant to be any sort of nationalism is islam. From what I have been told its all about Muslim unity. ?

      drona;

I am not arrogant enough to judge the patriotism of a person for his motherland. My comment was in a sarcastic vein and attacked the presumption that the patriotism is defined by an individual's religion. One can change the religion, but one can not change his/her motherland.
Patriotism should be judged by actions and not by empty slogans. No one attacked any religion, your just butt hurt over the fact that the questions I have raised can't be answered without addressing the said parties religious affiliations in the overall context of Afghan patriotism/nationalism. And you are wrong, just like religion, motherland can also change. That is why Hindu motherland is India, and Jew motherland is Israel. In the case of Muslims, since Afghanistan is a Muslim state to begin with, the motherland IS Afghanistan. That will explain why they were/are so hell bent on defending it unlike OTHERS.

Your arrogance and ignorance is laughable. Many Indian Muslims have distinguished themselves in multiple wars against Pakistan and have received highest military honors. I suppose even the most pious Muslims will willingly sacrifice himself in a war against Pakistan as the Pakistani State stands for every unislamic evil there is. Islam stands for love, tolerance, and accommodation. The Pakistani State stands for hatred and bigotry which is reflected in the manner in which the inter ethnic/sectarian disputes are settled there.
Islam stand for love, tolerance, and peace? Tell that to the Hindutva and Shiv Sina lot. You are a political tool, it's in your interest to state sugary and bubbly remarks that will charm the average Afghan. Your sole purpose is to propagate your state (India) interests here, that's all. Why else will a Hindu/Indian be on an Afghan/Pukhtoon forum? You care about us? Last time I checked you didn't support the Taliban when they were fighting Pukhtoon rapists and killers like the Northern Alliance. So don't get all touchy, to me, there is no difference between you and your beradars in KHAL-E-STAN aka Pakistan.

Plus I didn't say there aren't Indian Muslims who would fight for their motherland HINDU-E-STAN, but if they didn't you would ridicule them just as well.

I have commented that your posts are simplistic and ridiculous. But this one really takes the cake. I never knew that there were these creatures called "Indian Muslims" and "Indian Hindus". So where do they live ? Can you point them out to me ?
      lulz, GTFO!

Since you seem to be missing the necessary equipment to detect sarcasm, I shall explain in detail. The Hindu and Muslims communities in India are not monolithic. The vast majority of Muslims will cheer for Indian team not because of x number of Muslims playing in the team, but rather because the team represents India which is their homeland. The question of religion is irrelevant.
You seem to lack the comprehension to understand that I only suggested a hypothetical situation. As for the cricket and cheering, the mosque I visit is managed by Gujrati Indian Muslims. My information about the situation of Muslims in India comes directly from them. Although many are proud Indians, the picture isn't as glossy as you describe. They cheer Pakistani team, in front of my Hindu Indian collogues, for said reasons. The Indians, then moan about it, which I agree with them.

This narrative doesn't hold for the majority of Indians (of all communities), otherwise there would be a raging civil war in every Indian city. I would advice Afghan friends to follow India's example rather than Pakistan's to settle their inter-ethnic/linguistic/religious differences.
lulz... please, although India is much better than Pakistan, she has her own separatists. I do give credit to India for being more politically diverse, consistent and stable, but she has skeletons of her own in the closet.

Are you a mushrik, kuffar or murtad?
      I'm an unchoot Dalit.

      pranam.

        Wrayun,

Since you have already condemned me as an Indian agent, it is not possible to have a honest discussion with you. But before I withdraw, I would like to make some observations:

        1. As an Indian/RAW agent [LoLz] I would like all ethnic/religious groups in Afghanistan to resolve their differences amicably and to practice a tolerant interpretation of Islam, because only that will ensure the emergence of a modern, progressive, prosperous Afghan State [which is in India's interest]

        2. I suspect only US/Paki/Saudi/Iranian agents would want to create and promote divisions between Afghans along ethnic/religious lines.

        3. India didn't start the Afghan war. For us all Afghans [Pashtuns/Tajiks/Hazaras/Uzbeks ] are equal. But once the war started, India supported the NA because she thought that the majority of Taliban foot soldiers were gullible young men misguided by emotive and religious rhetoric; and their leaders were in Pakistan's pocket. Moreover, She didn't want Afghanistan to become Pakistan's fifth province.

        4. Your confused, meandering opinions about Indian Muslims ( based on nothing more than anecdotal evidence of questionable value!) often reflect those of Hindu loonies in India [fringe groups like Shiv Sena].Curious, no ? Bird of a feather flock together !

        5. Strictly speaking, the motherland of "Hindus" is somewhere in Pakistan. The present day India is the homeland of all Indians , not just "Hindus".

        6. India is an open society. All the closets are empty. The skeletons are laid out in the open in their full gory details. But those interested in doing skullduggery may keep in mind that two cities [ Mumbai, Delhi Metro areas] have higher population [40 million] than whole of Afghanistan [29 million] !

Dear Wrayun wror, how big has the numbers of non-Muslims been and how big has the numbers of Muslims been? If non-Muslims haven't defended Afghanistan enough, then nor have they destroyed it like Muslims themselves have. My grandfather is friends with an Afghan Sikh family since he was 15 years old and his friends' sons were protecting the entire area in Laghman against Russians and men of Hafizullah Amin back during the wars, what ended up happening is they survived the Afghan-Russian war, but 17 members of their family got their throats cut in front of their female family members. And this was only what happened in my grandfather's local area, let alone what happened to them in Kabul and Jalalabad! When they were being profitable for Afghanistan everyone hugged them as brothers, but during wars every ethnic protected his own qawm and had a hizb of their own, while non-Muslims didn't posses any of them! They weren't part of Taliban, not a part of Mujahideen, not a part of the government and nor did they have enough say in Afghan matters. Sikhs in particularly in Kabul are being sidelined and made fun of for being Sikhs, so they are not even being sidelined for not 'defending' their country and now that's where the problems lay. In many areas houses of Hindus were taken away, Sikhs were being very ruthlessly killed, God knows what happened to Jews and you should instead ask those Muslims that if they weren't part of any group whatsoever, then what on earth made you torture them that way? How have they harmed you? Heck, Muslims are even sucking each other's blood and sidelining each other, then why point out fingers at non-Muslims?

              LoL!

I would rather be a tool for my own country than a fool by supporting Pakistan's agenda in Afghanistan.

                ,
Good advice, though don't waste it on me I have written articles on the subject. Give it to someone that needs it.

                  Hello there hindupashtun,

I was sort of waiting for your participation to be honest. I know you love and adore Afghanistan as much as anyone else, though, I like to know if there were Hindus that participated in the defense of Afghanistan during or post Soviet invasion. What did Hindus of Afghanistan made of the whole war, were they neutral, or they preferred one side over the other?

Your Indian brotherhood will be tested. In fact Indian Hindus are always moaning about how Indian Muslims support Pakistani cricket team over their own Indian team. They have legitimate concerns i.e. not enough Muslims in the team, though that doesn't stop your average Hindu from criticizing his fellow Muslim Indian.

Man i am a muslim from lakshadweep south india..what bs are you talking? We are indians first and will support our motherland no matter what.Out of millions of muslims there may be a few bigots who dont love their motherland but they does not represent whole of us.I am from lakshadweep islands where 100% of population is muslims and we love india more than anything.I have never seen a muslim cheering for pakistan against india. Not enough muslims in cricket team?wtf !we dont cheer india because of muslims in team.(For your information there are three-four muslim players, which btw is not our matter of concern). And about indian muslim supporting pakistan/doing nothing in war, there have been three wars already and many muslims have fought for the country and some have been given highest military honours. In the island group where i am from, there is an island called minicoy(100% muslim population) and the women there donated all their gold ornaments to army fund during 1971 wars.So please dont talk about things you dont have any idea about.

i would say 95 % of muslims support India. Only area where large majority dont support India is in kashmir valley. Even bangladeshi muslims suport india over pakistan in cricket.
