    Jasmine,

I'm not sure what that little smilie means, is it meaning you made a joke?
Or did a photographer work for hours to strike this pose?!
Let's hear the real story of the avatar!

I HAVE an extra copy of the Get Smart on DVD. I think it's only Season 1, but that was the best series anyway. You're welcome to it. I have to check but I think I only have the first one. Later Seasons 2-5 came out. Don't mix up, tho, with a recent dumb movie made which is not the same, tho based on the story. It has to have Don Adams and Barbara Feldon [she was the famous Agent 99; they were a team and finally got married in the last episode!].

About books, I am too shy to start a thread on my own favorite books. But I would be happy to write up something if people are interested. I need prompting though.

About TV, I was raised entirely in the US. One of the saddest things for me was that my father was offered a post at the American Consulate in Karachi, of all places, when I was very young. But my parents turned it down and moved to Seattle, WA.

I have always regretted that I didn't get that wonderful chance to have my formative years in that part of the world. Instead, I had to learn from the library when I wanted to get involved in Afghanistan!

I NEVER liked TV. I knew something was wrong with it. Too escapist, like romance novels but WAY worse because it spoils one's spiritual eyes - and physical ones too!

    Osho,

Can you believe it ? We agree on a subject !! I completely believe in traditional medicine, always have, and think Western medicine is futile to put it mildly!
No offense to doctors or med students on here.
Do you know some Ayurvedic, I bet?
I love to talk about all types of herbs, oils - God-given ways to bolster one's immune system and maintain the best health. No one ever need consult a doctor, except for broken bones, in my opinion.
Yes, let's continue over in the Health section.

You are right. We should make threads instead fabricating stuff about our history calling every famous Pashtun a Nationalist. LOL

Yeah, we do, I hardly watch it at home. If I wanted to watch a film or whatever, I can do it online.

                    Interesting read.. http://www.pashtunforums.com/122125-post96.html

true, but it can be a lot of things...money to petty patriotism and flag waving. However, I enjoy the NFL, MLB, at times NBA (sorry homeslice until raptors or spurs get the win, it won't change :-P), UEFA, and MMA.

do you have a tongue in your mouth?
We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.

If I agree with you we w'd both be wrong.

Be good, If you can't be good be lucky
