  • Cultural Similarities Between Pashtuns and Baloches

Can you guys list some cultural similarities between Pashtuns and Baloches?

Also, are Baloch people culturally closer to Sindhis or Pashtuns? I often hear about similarities specific to Baloch and Sindhi people, but pretty much never hear of similar comparisons between Baloch and Pashtun people.

      -Wearing of Kamees Partoog
      -Jirgas
-Pashtuns of Quetta and Kandahar region wear the same cap that Sindhis and Baloch do.
-General Iranic attributes like non-spicy food and lack of Hindu influence in our cultures compared to Punjabi and Sindhi culture.

The Baloch also have jirgas? Interesting.

By the way, they also have a code similar to Pashtunwali called 'Baloch Mayar': Baloch Mayar | Baloch Culture

Like pashtun culture more I think (judging from my surroundings)
Sindhi people seem very outgoing and social and talkative which are embarrassing personality traits according to baloch people, they also like singing and dancing which baloch people find dishonorable
            Are pashtuns like that too?

From my experience balocihis tend to have a mix between the culture of tribal pashtuns, Iranians, Sindhis and punjabis, much more the former than the latter.

Don't call us iranic that is denigrating.
We are not a subgroup of Iran

Yeah true, they also wear white turbans that Arabs wear if I'm not mistaken

Iranic doesn't mean iranian. There are kurds in Syria that are called iranic, iranics is more of a linguistic group than anything, nothing at all do with ethnic groups. The closest people to iranians outside of iran (culturally and racially) would be heratis.

No, baloch clothes are very different from Arabs, baloch turban is big similar to the one afghans or khorasan people wear, while the Arab one is very small

Oh yh I just realised I got confused since Arabs and balichis wear similiar coloured turbans where as afghans wear darker turbans. Are not the khoarasani people that of north khorasan? I realised that there are many cultural and racial similarities with the people of herat and north khorasan/south khorasan.
