Kabuli men do a lot of things but they do not grow out their hair or shake their heads like demonized retards. And as far as I am concerned, that's typical hijra wannabe behaviour. How can a person with self respect conduct themselves like that in public gatherings and expect anyone out there to respect him as a sane being??

Im explaining it from the biological evolutionary point of view. Long thick hair is considered as a healthy trait in a mate.

Your explaining it from a Kabuli view whose men are considered feminine with their flamboyant behavior.

This is how most young Kabuli young men look like today:

I don't recall suggesting that kabuli men were symbols of masculinity. I just said kabuli men don't grow their hair long or perform attan like that.

          And khushal,

Biological evolutionary point of views are not "considered", they are stated. Opinions are considered, facts are stated. Folk tales are based on opinions, biology is based on facts. People are not strong because they have long hair, healthy people typically grow healthy hair. Healthy does not mean long so if you cut your hair short, it does not mean that you are less healthy than the person with longer hair.

Also, for fcuk's sake, fcuking learn the difference between your and you're.

Al-Nasaa’i (5048) and Abu Dawood (4195) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) saw a boy part of whose head had been shaved and part of it left. He told them not to do that and said: “Shave all of it or leave all of it.

it says in Sharh al-Iqnaa’: Qaza’ includes shaving some places on the sides of the head, or shaving the middle and leaving the sides, as most of the Christians do, or shaving the sides and leaving the middle, as many of the foolish do, or shaving the front and leaving the back. Ahmad was asked about shaving the back of the head and he said: This is the action of the Magians, and whoever imitates a people is one of them. Thus it is known that it is not permissible to leave some parts of the hair longer than others.

No, you are wrong. They are theories. Theories can not be proven true or false. Evolutionary biology theories are widely accepted theories that are backed by historical evidence and they are "considered" as fact until they are proven wrong.

Your Kabuli version of what is "civilized" and what is not are superficial thoughts with no historical evidence. They create a narrative similar to the lifestyle they want and try to promote it. When a "gharania" pashtun sees a suited, clean shaved Kabuli man with his flamboyant behavior, he perceives it as feminine because he has not been exposed to the Kabuli narrative like you have.
When a Kabuli person like you see a "gharania" pashtun, you perceive a barbarian because that is what you have been taught and you believe it because you lack the basics of evolutionary biology education which in turn makes you the barbarian since you dont understand your own thought process.

First of all, it's "gharanay", not "gharania", secondly, what does this have to do with kabulies?? Why are you even bringing them in to this??
I know of lots of Pashtuns who perform attan without moving their heads like that or growing their hair like filthy animals. My father's side of the family come from the maintains and are still living in the mountains. I have never seen them walking around, looking like filth.
You can talk about people being a certain way because they come from the mountains when the alternative option is an inconvenience due to their way of living. If they didn't have scissors or barbers in the mountains, then you could say they look this way because they live in the mountains.

And no, biology is not a theory. An idea begins as a theory and then it's researched and analyzed. It's used to support a fact ONLY AFTER ITS PROVED RIGHT.

First you tell me I am wrong and present a lie and then you tell me that your lie is based on more lies (theories) and somehow, it's all the fault of kabulies.

People like you are responsible for Pashtuns depending on cow dung for fuel to run their households by, in 21th century. Dumbasses like you who can't be bothered to learn the difference between your and you are, despite being constantly corrected in the last 6 or seven years.

Don't give me a headache. You have been living in USA for over 20 years. You don't get to use people of the mountains to excuse your own ignorance.

You don't have to be a kabuli to know what personal hygiene means. I have lived with wazirs and pachiries of agaam, khugyaani for four years and in a village. They prayed five times and day and if they put a set of cloths on on Sunday, it would be spotless clean until the next three weeks.

I have lived with villagers. Instead going online saying they are dirty and backwards, I tried to encourage them to improve. I've learned allot from them and they have learned something from me.

you are being the typical shallow person as usual. You talk trash about your fellow countrymen on an online forum designed to bring people together.

You know some of these Punjabis here have more decency than you. I as a fellow Kabuli feel ashamed because of your bad behavior.

I don't understand. What's wrong with long hair? I'm from Punjab, we grow our hair out too. It's a very natural and beautiful look for many men.

You should give poor people more credit for whatever way of life they live. Most poor people from villages here in Pakistan have access to razors or scissors. They get very lovely crew cuts from either their local barber, their wives or themselves if they're good at it.

My question was, since I've seen a lot of local Waziris grow their hair long, if there's any cultural reason behind growing your hair out for them. I've been to Dir, Malakand, Swat, and I haven't encountered that same look amongst the local Pashtuns. So I was wondering if there's anything particular amongst the Waziri Pashtun that make them do that.

I have long hair too btw. It almost reaches down to my shoulders, I'm quite happy with the look.

The same thing that is wrong with a woman having a bob haircut. It's hideously unattractive and unfeminine.

That's not what I meant. If a person from a village where haircuts cost lots of money, they have no sissies or barbers, decides to go his hair long, it can be justified. When a dumbass who lives in USA believes that growing his hair long is going to make him more masculine because "theories" in the villages suggests so, he has to be reminded that A) he is being an idiot. The science as well as the logic behind it is wrong.
I can respect a man saying I want to grow my hair long because I like it that way far more than I can respect some dumbass who believes growing his hair long is going to make him stronger or appear more village like. (I don't know of any villages where men grow their hair long) And even if you grow your hair long, you have to groom it, not shake it around like some demonized witch.

No one has said anything is the fault of Kabulis. But the point was that Kabulis like yourself and Firdousi think that because you grew up in the city, you are somehow superior to the rural people. I used the theory of evolutionary biology to prove that your perception of realty is false by attacking your thought process as barbaric.

You are going to disappear like every other time you have, after accusing me of something you pulled entirely out of your ass so I am going to remind to of a couple of things while we are at it.
As far as I know, I am not your child, nor was I raised by your father so you don't have to be ashamed of me because no person of a sound mind is going to hold you responsible for my beliefs or actions.
This entire attitude of "I teach people to be better like me when I am living in the village amongst people who know no better" is disrespectful and condescending towards people of the village. If anything, it's that type of ****ty behaviour that suggests where you hold them esteem wise when it comes to considering them civilized or backwards.
You don't have to teach people to be more clean just because you were not born or raised in a village. You are not so superior that they should learn from you, they know how to keep themselves clean. And if you want to teach someone something, you let them watch you do it, you don't go up to them and tell them how they should be keeping themselves clean.

So between you and I, the person who ought to be ashamed of his or her condescending attitude towards people of the village, is you, not me. For I have never taught anyone to be clean like me, nor have I suggested that they were in need of advice regarding personal hygiene, from me. If anything, I have praised them for their ability to keep themselves clean, even before the question at hand was brought up.

I am not ashamed of you because you are no body worth sharing the responsibility of holding a similar opinion of anything worth holding an opinion of, with, but I am surely disgusted by your holier than thou attitude, as always.

All science is a theory?? Seriously?? You know, it's not your fault. I should know better than expecting you to hold a logical stance in your opinion of anything during a conversation. After all, you are an individual who have been belittled for over 7 years over his inability to understand a third grade level grammatical error. If you can't understand that, why am I even expecting you to understand the aofferenxe between a theory and a fact??

Your spelling or Pashto word in roman letters is wrong, your understanding of the difference between your and you are is wrong. Does it occur to you that some other things that you believe to be facts, too, might be wrong??

Are you special?? Do you have the mental capacity of a toddler??
