All these Indians claiming pashtuns as Indian people and claiming they mixed with pashtuns and how pashtuns are going to mix with them more in the future and become more indian. It's so ridiculous.

I tried to attest that statement politely, and they got mad and banned me.

Pashtuns never mixed with Greeks and Greeks were in Afghanistan for a long time. Pashtuns didn't mix with Mongolian invaders, Pashtuns barely mixed with Iranians, what the **** makes these Indians think they are so special and that pashtuns mixed with them? It is them that are mixed with us. That is why the only Indians pashtuns share genetic similarity to are NW Indians. Pashtuns share virtually nothing with the further southern, more australoid ones genetically
In India and Indic nations such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghans (among other exotic people) are by some seen as higher than the highest caste Indics. This is why its very popular to claim Afghan or Pathan ancestry (along with Arab, etc.). This gives some people a pseudo social status....

Bollywood Indians are all Indo Aryan...your avarage Apu (heavy australoid admix) from Indic nations is minimally Aryan/Iranic though:
This guy is likely an avarage Northwest Indian...pakistani punjabis look slightly less Indic/australoid though.

Indics (pakistani punjabis) and NW Indians have 100x more Iranic blood than urban Pakistani Pathans have Indic blood, hence why Punjabis are more West/south central asian shifted than they are south asian compared to rest of Indians.

But Australoid genes like Negroid is so dominant, all it takes is one drop of blood and one will look completely Indic/heavy australoid admixed:

What is more likely to happen is Iranians, Azeris, and Afghans mixing as they themselves close to each other, and North Indians and South Indians will mix, so I actually think it is more likely for Afghans to drift away from Indians in the future. But I don't see ANYTHING changing honestly.

They're all honestly pulling things out of their butt with no statistics.
No need for paranoia. To begin with, most people don't prefer race mixing...and in case of Indics, their racial features are generally not exactly super desirable for race mixing....

no racist, just saying it like it is, but Indic races generally have undesirable features (although good looking Indics do exist like Sendhil Ramamurthy, but they are like 1 in milllion, personally I have never met a good looking Indic person)

The avarage Indic looks something like this:

Indics generally have very few attractive/desirable genetic traits compared to other races. primitive facial features = undesirable. It's what it is...I don't hate any race, or being racist. Just

What about all the Indian slave women The likes of Ghaznavi, Ahmed shah, Nader shah etc would bring back with them to the slave markets of Afghanistan surely there must have been some mixture with them, or were they not concubines?

Valid point. I've always wondered this myself.... It's very difficult to believe there was no mixing of Pashtuns with women they must have carried off. However it is difficult to judge what the structure of society was like in the times of Ahmad Shah Baba and Mahmud e Ghaznavi etc. Would be interesting to see if Pashtuns as a race three to four hundred years ago in those times looked any different to the Pashtuns of today.

I dont look south asian, and neither do my parents. I mean my dad is kinda dark but not indian looking, just tan. My mom is fair skinned and looks European. My oldest sister and I look "white," while my other sister looks tan and persian/armenianish. Most people in my family look either Pashtun or Pamiri, Turkish, Iranian, and European. I do have a cousin from my moms side who is very dark and looks kinda indian. But hes half from herat.
Show me photo of yourself, I can honestly tell you what you look like.

Kabul and Jalabad were once Ancient Hindkowan cities. Tehy were buddhist or hindu mixed and mahmud Ghaznavi raped them in the ass.

Yea, i assume the same way Ghenghiz Khan massacred ancient ARyans in Hazarajat, then like repopulated them with Hazaras

i can say Jalalbad and Kabul, smilar situation. You killed off the Hindu/Buddhist Gujjars and Hindkowans and replace them with Tajiks and Pashtuns.

mahmud Ghaznavi did too much rapes in Afghanistan which is reason afghanis became white. before his rapes, afghanis looked like Dravidians.

Proto-Indo-Aryans and Proto-Iranians were genetically the same. There is no such thing as Indian genetics and Iranian genetics. The whole world is part of a single genetic continuum. Eastern Afghans are relatively close to Indians geographically to of course their would be some genetic similarities just like how Persians are close to Iraqis geographically so they have genetic similarities. Pashtun and Punjabi are just cultural groups, not genetic groups.

Sarbani, you are mistaken. There is a "look" that is associated with it. Younis may not be right about it being in pashtunwali, but he's definitely right that it's racial.

Anyone who's lived in these places, as opposed to a tourist who's visiting this site, will tell you this.

You can not identify it via haplogroups, and whatever else dna analysis gets you, but that's a fact that applies almost everywhere.

Punjabis are racially and culturally different. The only ones that could possibly be racially similar (I don't want to say the same) are the ones that do not look punjabi ie Iranic, fair skin, etc etc (of which, no doubt, there are some... albeit minuscule or even negligible, especially if we ignore the half Punjabi half Kashmiri mixes).

It's not an exact science, but it is true that looks are used frequently in order to figure out who is or isn't Pashtun. It's not a coincidence that many past posters appeared somewhat skin color obsessed.

A large part of it is simply keeping track down the generations.

Don't get me wrong, it's not an exact science. There is a cultural element. If someone lives in the areas, speaks the language, is culturally affiliated, that's usually enough. But you shouldn't dismiss the "looks" part. It's not irrelevant. The truth hurts though. At best, there may be genetic similarities demonstrated via a dna test... but dna tests will show this for nearly every neighboring ethnic groups. It also shows a limited view of what the dna sample showed... i.e. not the complete picture.

Afghanistan for the most part has a climate unsuitable for Dravidians and other darkskinned humans...

But yes its possible some parts of Afghanistan could have been inhabited by Dravidian like humans before ancient Eastern Iranic tribes moved in and pushed Dravidians towards South Asia...I believe the prove is in the Difference racial phenotypes of North and South India...

The typical Kashmiri has brown skin, thin black hair and skinny bodies, just like any other South Asian. Anything else is an exception, not the norm.

The only distinguishing feature of Kashmiris is that they generally tend to have long, elongated faces that look like a horse or donkey. They are not attractive at all.

Before i had met any Kashmiris i used to think they were their own distinct people because of what i had read about their struggle with India. But i have since met a number of Kashmiris here and there over the past couple of decades and am no longer convinced that there is any significant difference between them and the rest of the Indians / Pakis. Whatever differences they have are easily outweighed by their similarities.

Maybe they should still be a separate state from India, but i dont buy into lies that Kashmiris are a different people racially or historically. They belong to the Indian civilization and history this is undeniable. Their "beef" with India is wholly about religion.
