Its on the Kakakhel website although according to Badlun it might be fabricated.

The same even happened of tracing all Pashtun tribes to Qais Abdul Rashid for credibility that Pashtuns are a better race being Jews or Arabs.

I love Kakakhel Pashtuns , as their contribution to Pashto language is enormous.
Can you give me a link or the name of some books on the history of Kakakhels. Also im curious to know where you learned that Kakakhels are pure blood Pashtuns as their website and Wikipedia says they are of arab descent.

The definitions of south asia or any region are pretty random, but simply google "south asia" and see how many maps show Afghanistan vs how many show Iran.

No, because the three Afghans who identified as "Arab" aka Syed all had ancestry from india, im not talking about all afghans here lol. Politically biased how?

Kakakhel's are not Arabs, they are Pashtuns. I think Arab ancestry claims in Central and South Asia are really far-fetched, in reality they are just locals who adopted names like "syed" and "Quraish" in honour of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Midnight_Sun posted a link of the genetic relationships of all Afghan ethnic groups in another thread and it showed that so called "Arabs" in Afghanistan were actually nothing more then converted locals who traced their ancestry back to afg and india.

More or less these names are just titles, event the Bangash tribe are rumoured to be of Arab descent but genetic tests say otherwise.

Al-Afghani always claimed to be of Afghan descent not Arab, i don't know why modern historians like to see him as a sayed, maybe some biased beliefs there?

Anyway's didn't so called "Arabs" mostly settle in Kabul and parts of the north like takkhar and Baghlan since they orginally came down north from Bukhara to introduce Islam into Afghanistan?

How can you be Sayyid and not an Arab. That's like saying you're a Parrot without being a bird.

Unless we mean a fake Sayyid, but if you're a legit Sayyid, this undeniably means Arab ancestry.

What the Sad'at of Kunar tell me is that they came in the 16th-17th century. It wasn't 1000 years ago. They came recently.

Now I'm under doubts they're real Sayyids, but I'm pretty sure they came from Syria as they claim because of the Sufi connection. Sufi Pirs used to travel and migrate to lands all the time. I only wish I had access to first hand material.

But Mir Pacha Sahb was a Sufi and the Sufi lineage he's from stems from a Syrian Shaikh.

Can you give me some links on where you found out that Kakakhels are pure pashtuns. It's not that I doubt you I am just curious as you are the second person who has said that Kakakhels are pure Pashtuns which suggests that the history and origins of the Kakakhels is well known.
