You don't know who i am,our tribes do not obey any state any government,we are independent people,we don't follow any customs of persians,we do have a new year in spring, but it is not called nowruz and will be never called nowruz.
just relax a bit and go back where your roots come from and see what people really do and what they dont do ,but i think some people of your " tribe " , decieded to leave , and i guess you are a law following person ...born some where which is not your "tribal homeland"
but you should visit your people and see what is really they point and be like a
sheep and a parrott....
it is not celebrated as such as it is done and recalled as nowruz.
I don't want to sound nationalist but you don't know what Paktya is,i just want to quote here U.S Military leaders
Quote:
Haqqani group is one of the fiercest and powerful fighting group carrying out brazen attacks across Afghanistan
Now imagine these socalled haqqani group are only a handful men, imagine around 700 000 fighting men from paktya, khost and paktika province.
I doubt a day could any world power could fight us with the help of Allah.

but if you are a grown ass man , then we have serious problems
you fiercly wild tribal warrior

I'm still laughing at that one. Ironically, I did spend some time in Paktika last year and while most people acknowledge Nowruz, some celebrate it but not all, some celebrate Newai Khwazun (from what family tells me this was a celebration primarily acknowledged by kuchiyan but now is still celebrated as cultural tradition even by the settled tribes) but I'm fairly certain that all Pashtuns celebrate one or the other.
